Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Horrible company. We got coverage 11 months ago and never tried to use them until just now. Our furnace broke last Saturday and will not be getting fixed until Monday or Tuesday. Plus even though they are supposed to be covering furnances they are not paying-we have to. Sharon in Pittsburgh PA

This is one of the worst company experiences that I've ever had. They do not respond to calls, then try to claim that they did. It takes forever to get anything done, if it even gets done at all. I finally cancelled service with them due to their lack of communication and follow through, and they charged me a $75 cancellation fee. I was told there would be no cancellation fee when I signed up. They are terrible and I paid for it. Do not use them. You will be very disappointed

I moved in to my house 2 months ago and of course the winter came and the heat wouldn't turn on. My warranty came with my home purchase and it was a nice perk. The technician came in on a Saturday and by the time I was done watching cartoons with my daughter he was done. Love these guys!

In total i have had about 4 specialists on my appliances come to my house. They were extremely smart and able to fix and replace parts with the tools they had and parts on hand. I had no issues with long waits for parts and this makes me believe Select is the right choice.

My sump pump deteriorated over 10 years and this is one of the reasons I looked out for a home warranty 2 years back. It came in handy just a few days ago. The thing stopped working and I called up Select to file a claim. It was done very quickly on the phone and I had a serviceman in a day. He managed to get the old lady working again and everything is working fine, good repair good job.

This is the third application I have made with Select Home Warranty. Each one was handled with care and professionalism. Time frames have ranged from 1 to 5 days on my bigger requests. I thank you and am happy with the service, you have saved me a good amount of money.

I have had SHW for tons of years. Now I would not feel comfortable having a house without their coverage. Never had a problem, before with them covering things and paying for services they promised to.

it was well over a hundred degrees out and my air conditioner stopped pushing out cold air. My mother lives with me and is very old. I called and made an emergency claim. The cost was $60 for the claim and they came the next day and were able to rush the parts and fix it really well. Thanks again Pat.

My home that me and my girlfriend own has been with select for just a bit under a year and we recommend their service and will renew. We have only made a very small claim on a cleaning, but it was done very quickly and I see no reason why I wouldn't continue to be protected by them.
