Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I just canceled my Home warranty with Choice. Did not know who to do to find a good honest warranty company. I spoke with Henry Richardson and he was amazing. He explained the coverage to me and answered additional questions that I had to ensure I get the beat coverage.

AVOID !!AVOID !! I never write reviews but My Hair is on Fire. 1st My home is only 5 yrs old so didnt expect to have to make a claim for at least couple yrs but AC went. We have bad weather. I called and put in a clam 7/13/21. I bought policy 6/11/21, told Me You had to wait 30 days so just My luck AC goes on the day. This morning I spent 40min. on phone. they said it was a pre-existing condition. My voice went up. They did take 2 months payment. They put in claim, said Id get a call. This afternoon another 45min. Said They couldnt even find My policy. They gave Me a claim #. Finally afer transfered 3 times I was told is wasnt 30 days that I opened it 6/13/21. Lie plus that was a Sunday.... Read More

I am extremely disappointed in the customer response, and the misguided policy information. Minimal coverage for the amount you pay for this service. I called about my roof and the contractor they sent didn’t bring a ladder. My ceiling fan broke and they sent a response that they would reimburse me $45 , surely can’t buy a ceiling fan for that amount. Run from this company it’s not worth the money. SO DISAPPOINTED in this warranty company.

My washer broke down. I called Select Home Warranty for a repair. The repair person came and said the cost for parts and labor came to $1300.00. Select Home Warranty will only reimburse me $125.00. Which is ridiculous. I'm not understanding why their rating is high. They are terrible. The sales rep were pretty persuasive to get your money but don't file a claim, that's were they get you!!!!!

The worst home warranty company is select home warranty. I put in a claim for my ac unit on June 12th. They finally got a technician out June 15th. They didn't give me a status in the 24 to 48 hr time frame like they said they would. I called them and they said they needed more information from the technician and would call him while I was on the phone. The technician told them that my unit needs a new compressor but it would be more cost efficient to replace the unit. Another 2 days later, no status yet. Horrible experience as live in hell! AVOID AVOID and AVOID.. I purchased two 3-year warranty for two different properties about 2 years ago. Recently I had my first claim experience with them. I filed claim online on a Thursday and I hear nothing back. Not even an email confirmation. Friday I called, they tell me I need to wait till next Monday because my claim is still under review. Monday, I called, this time, they said will connect with GE technician (my GE cloth dryer had an issue). So as they connect with GE, I am on phone listening to music for 45min total and they tell me, sorry our system is down, I can't schedule you. please call us back later. I Purchased sprinkle system warranty . My claim was rejected, they said that the policy does not cover leak in the valve of the sprinkle system. i had to pay 60$ to get the rejecting service
