Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

For a single working lady, the Service plan is a boon in disguise. I do not know how I would have managed without it.

I came across the Platinum Care Plan offered by the Home warranty company while browsing on the internet. I took a chance to subscribe to the plan with some reluctance. Today, I am a happy man with all my appliance breakdowns being taken care of within a few days.

How that refrigerator was an eyesore till I took this annual Service plan. The 10 year old refrigerator is actually keeping my temper cool now that they fixed it.

This home warranty stuff is cool Man! The expert is just a call away. He does all the technical stuff and you don’t have to bother about repairs. I am able to work on my music compositions with peace.

This is the worst of all. I waited for more than a month for simple claim for them to respond and nothing happened. Call so many times and they said the contractors are busy. when i decided to cancel, they told me there are fees that i have to pay and they refer to some page from many pages they sent in their contract. They promise you 24 to 48 hours response when you have a claim just to get your business but once they get it they keep you hanging until you get tired and hire your own contractor. I encourage everyone to do their study before they do business with this company. My rating is below the worst.

Do not buy anything from Select Home because you will never get service from them. I had a bad experience. Select Home should be out of the market.

this is the second warranty company I used on one of my properties, first would NOT pay out a dime and wasted my money. Garbage disposal broke and at Select sent out a tech within a day and the repair tech(Jon) was very thorough and fixed. So I recommend too

What an absolute fantastic experiences. The heater on my central AC died and I thought my heart would explode from worry. I purchased a platinum plan from Select several months ago and wasn't sure if they were going to follow through. Thank God! They had someone out there in a day and a half and they ordered a bad part(cant remember what it was called) and repaired it the day after that! TR

recommend SHW to all my friends and family after my ceiling fan blew up and I needed there assistance. Reading other reviews I was concerned a bit then I made my claim and it pass so simple and the next morning Larry from repairs came to my home and saw the short in the wire and was able to fix it on the spot. cost effective and quick
