Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

ZERO STARS! These people are the worst and lied to us! They just only want your money. Completely unorganized and complete scammers! We are dropping our warranty with them, getting our full refund and going to another company ASAP. We still didn’t get our issues fixed and they scammed us out of money. They haven’t even called us back like they keep telling us they would. Complete waste of time and money! Please be very careful with these people as they will completely lie to you and then not help you!

WORST EVER. They sent two different appliance repairmen to check the freezer on my refrigerator. Ultimately denied my claim because it had an ice dispenser. I put in the claim in may, I just got denied in september. save yourself the headache.

This is the worst home warranty service i have ever had! I am currently looking for somewhere that i can post my review! If i could give a negative star, i would. I would be willing to bet that this post will not be listed as a review. They would never cover any claim that I submitted....it was always in the "fine print" of the contract. I called two months ago to cancel and STILL have not received my refund check! Do Not Use this Company!

Worst experience and company ever to get service from, In other words, it’s a Scam. I used AHS for over 8 years and this year just for a change and cheap package I signed up with Select Home warranty, paid a whole year in advance. Filled 2 claims and canceled my account within 34 days. Both claims were my worst experience in fact a nightmare. For the first claim, even after getting approval from the authorization department I still end up paying $160 For 2nd Claim, that was the main nightmare which convinces my mind to just get rid of this company. First claim was denied due to not being covered. Second claim is in process. Will have to see. A 2 minute wait time turned into 45 but they did call me back. Rep was very curt and not very attentive but said he would file the claim and get me an electrician.

Outstanding customer service! I have had two calls in a short period of time, and each one was handled professionally and quickly. Technicians they sent were very good, clean, respectful and QUICK!

Customer Service is helpful but dispatched technicians usually come to collect a fee and never return, which prompts a second call for a technician. A simple repair takes almost 2 weeks to begin to get resolved. Repair companies and/or technicians should be screened better by SHW. This has happened on more than one occasion.

What they are offering for replacement of my microwave seems fair at this moment, however, I've not yet had an opportunity to price another one. I can be more objective once I see prices. That will let me know if I will be getting my moneys worth for this contract. I will rate a four star at this time with an opportunity to review at a later date.
