Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

They were fast and efficient when it came to finding a repair shop to come repair my washer. Although the people came out over a week ago took $45 and said they would get back to me. Nothing in over a week.

The Agent was very helpful in taking my information, so as far as that it has been a standard procedure. Now it’s been 12 hrs and my A/C is out and no contact from any technician as of yet. So meatless to say in 100 degrees in south Louisiana is unbearable.

My cooktop was broken. A technician checked and found two switch’s are not working and need to be replaced. The cost will be about $850. SHW can only pay about $180. No sure what to do. I used Old Dominion for my previous house which is indeed worry free. Don’t use SHW if you need a good one.

Many companies will tell you that there for you but this one’s really is my AC went out to get me somebody for 48 hours I found my own vendor paid for and they reimbursed me 100% great company

I called about a ceiling fan that needed replacement. I was disappointed to learn that Select Home Warranty would only pay $125.00, which is nowhere near the cost to replace the fan itself, let alone cover the cost to install the replacement fan. The email explaining my claim benefits mentioned a technician, but the person on the phone said they no longer send a technician out to replace ceiling fans. I now have to call back to authorize purchase of a new fan, once I find one I like. There's way to many steps involved to get my reimbursement.

I am very pleased with Select Home Warranty, and their wonderful staff. I recently had a unique situation arise with extenuating circumstances. SHW came through like a charm! What seemed to be a hopeless situation, ended up very nicely, and I am thankful for that. I will continue using SHW, and will recommend this company to everyone. Thank you again!
