Aptiva is a scam. It not a pest control service. It is just a vehicle to sell products: Pressure sales, high prices, contracts, cancellation fees etc... The Techs are trained to be courteous and very professional, so people give good reviews. Sadly the "treatment" they provide is questionable. It is a sales company really, not a pest control service. SCAM

I opened an account for pest control services with a customer service agent who told me I was signing up for "flea and rodent" services. My first appointment was cancelled abruptly after I had waited all morning, and I had to contact the company to reschedule. When they did come, they did not provide "flea and rodent services." They only sprayed for different insects. I reached out to the company to complain, so they rescheduled other technicians, who did some of what they were supposed to, including laying traps to check for next time. No idea how they have such a high rating… everything sounded great at first and plenty of high reviews online. Fast forward to six months into our service and I’m almost in tears writing this because of how frustrated I am with the results and the awful customer service/professionalism. Fair warning this is a little lengthy but if I can steer anyone away from having the same experience, it’s worth the writing. First, and most importantly, the product itself was NOT at all effective in our situation. We have a newer, two story home with typical pests: spiders, house centipedes, “water roaches”, wasps outside, etc. I am very afraid of/disgusted by bugs so it was worth it to me to not be... I don't normally leave reviews, but this was such a terrible experience that I felt the need to share. The sign-up and first treatment went great. Zero issues. For the second treatment, I got stood up twice - Aptive just no-showed. When someone finally showed up (try #3), I got zero notification that they were headed my way. Once they arrived, they were onsite less than 5 minutes. I know because my Ring doorbell caught the tech's movement. I had another treatment today and same thing - the guy was here less than 5 minutes. No way you can provide quality treatment in that amount of time, especially for what I'm paying them. They said I was late on my bill and had over $200 dollars of late charges by the time they sent a notice. They said they tried to call, but looking back in my voicemail, they never left a message. After calling them they said email notifications had been turned off on their side, no text notifications. How in the world was I suppose to know a bill was due. This comes across as more of scam to me.

Do Not deal with these people!!! We had a guy come walking up last summer saying that my neighbor was having them spray for mosquitoes, were we interested? We explained that my husband was the only one working at that time and money was tight - so for us it was obviously not a good idea. He seemed very nice and started chatting about how a lot of people were having a tough time because of Covid. So he was gearing up to leave and says 'Your neighbors will be paying so I'll tell you what....I'm going to do you for free! I asked him why would he do that? DO NOT SIGN WITH THESE GUYS!!! They were suppose to call in advance due to gated back yard, they did not. They came out the following week to finish yard and within 1 hour we were getting calls to pay bill. We explained the guy JUST FINISHED! Within 4 days we received 6 phones about a up paid billed that was 4 days old. We then cancelled and received 4 phones threatening us with a cancellation fee. We send the bill in due to whom ever tried to entered our bank info screwed that up ( thank god!!!) Worse customer service in the world!!!! We finally told them to take us to court to get their cancellation fee due to no contract ever being sent!!!!!
