Fetch ranks highly with us chiefly because of the comprehensiveness of coverage, including coverage for the entire sick visit including exam fees, and flexibility in customizing deductibles, reimbursement rates, and maximum annual payouts. In light of this, the customer has a lot of leeway to mix and match to get the right premiums for their individual pet and financial situation.

Fetch offers the most extensive coverage in comparison to the other companies we rate. They handle all new accidents and illnesses without restrictions for hereditary or congenital conditions, as well as medications, advanced testing, hospital stays, rehabilitative care, and holistic therapies.

Fetch provides coverage for behavioral treatments on all policies, including anxiety disorders such as travel and separation anxiety, noise phobia, and house soiling. Many other providers require a rider or don’t cover behavioral treatments at all.

Also, all non-routine veterinary exam fees are covered in all plans, including at emergency & specialist vets. While some providers don’t cover the cost of the exam, Fetch does, saving pet parents between $50-$250 per visit on average (with other providers, that’s the equivalent of an additional deductible you must meet on every veterinary visit).

Fetch has the most comprehensive coverage of dental injury and treatment of periodontal disease. Fetch’s comprehensive dental coverage protects against multiple accidents and injuries including broken teeth, periodontal disease, extractions and advanced dental treatments such as root canal therapy for every tooth in the mouth, not just the canines like some other providers.

Finally, Fetch will cover curable pre-existing conditions after the 365 day exclusionary period after your policy becomes active. The company also covers most bilateral conditions when one side is considered to be pre-existing, which is something many other providers won't do.

Fetch also prides itself on offering more coverage than any other provider. They offer premium pet insurance and that means they are not the cheapest. Claims & Service

Fetch is one of the only pet insurance companies to specifically state a claims payout timeframe in its terms and conditions, 30 days. However, most are reimbursed in 5-7 business days after submission of a completed claim, especially when submitted via the Fetch App or online.

To file a claim, you need two documents:
● A finalized invoice from your vet. Your invoice should clearly show what your pet was treated for, how much you were charged and it has to be paid in full.
● Detailed medical records from your pet’s most recent checkup. Medical records show us your pet’s medical history and let us see what we can cover, which allows us to process your claim quickly.

One thing to note: claims have to be filed within 90 days of treatment. If a claim is submitted more than 90 days after the date on the invoice, it won’t be covered.

Fetch also gives you the flexibility of submitting this information through its free app for Android and iPhone. You can also use their online portal on your phone or computer. This lets you file claims instantly and without messy paperwork 24/7.

Fetch also features the "Telehealth" service. This facility provides coverage for telephone consultations for an immediate lifesaving emergency.

RUN dont walk to get this insurance for your pup.....It will be needed sooner or later, I guarantee... This is the second time i have used Pet Plan. The first was for my beloved dog Cisco, who had no problems, til he did....and eventually died of a rare cancer for small dogs at 7 yrs old. Pet plan afforded me all the care wise could give and I know that Cisco was comfortable until the end. After recuperating emotionally I have tried again with my lil pup Izzy. Unfortunately she's got allergies and has had a round of pancreatitis. Pet plan to the rescue Again, in that I can get her all the help we need. Pet plan is the best insurance program..Hands down. Not only is the customer service experience amazing the coverage for your for baby is phenomenal . They will work with you to make sure that your pet is covered within your budget, and that you have the peace of mind that you need to make sure you can care for your pets . The claim process is super easy, and they are very fast in reimbursing you. They truly care about your pet, and provide a stress fret/free support system! You couldn't ask for a better insurance company, and better protection for your pet

I put a review up in February and it looks like they took it down- class act as usual Pet Plan. I used my insurance over the last year for my 2 yellow labs, and PP doubled the price of my premium, swearing up and down it was not doubled because of use. Sure, OK Pet Plan....... My dogs needed PT. I called PP and asked them if I could go anywhere.... and on a recorded line, the PP representative said absolutely, I could go anywhere I wanted to, so I did. After submitting the claim they rejected it saying I did not go to a PP authorized provider. I explained the story to them how I did my due diligence before going to the place I went, and they didn't care. They told me they were going... Read More

Recently had occasion to talk with Emily, a Pertplan customer service rep, due to the company's change of underwriter's and resulting change of policy options. Emily could not have been more courteous, knowledgeable, and understanding, and we ended up with what appears to be an excellent alternative. Kudos to Emily and Petplan for their handling of what could have been a somewhat stressful situation!

I have been a member of Petplan Pet Insurance since 2011. Petplan's employees have always been extremely courteous and helpful. I recently had a question about a claim and Emily Briggs there handled it immediately. Thank you Petplan for allowing me to give my pets the best health care ever.

I have been with them for 9 years and have 4 policy's for all 4 dogs and they have been absolutely wonderful!! One of my dogs has had 2 surgeries totally over 10,000 and they have not blinked an eye. Great company and amazing customer service!

My experience with PetPlan has been stellar. Their customer service is top notch. They respond to questions, claims and appeals quickly and thoroughly. Every interaction has been great. My interactions with Emily Briggs was especially worthy of note. She was so kind and understanding. She followed up personally with me and made sure that I felt like more than just a number and incredibly valued. I recommend PetPlan to anyone that has a pet.
