My wife purchased a advantage plan for here Supplemental insurance, we found out it did not cover several of her doctors, so we talked to a representative of united health care whom signed us up for another plan she had in the past with them also for here prescription another plan. We were told to contact the Advantage plan people and get a letter saying were cancels the Advantage plan. WELL this lady said that she couldn't do that because medicare's rule wouldn't let here do this. Now we spent 3 hour's on the phone between the prescription department and the Supplement people and the Advantage people,, I can't believe that one person isn't capable of taking care of all of our needs with... A non surgical employee refused coverage for our son’s pectus carinatum and lung surgery. He decided it was not necessary and “as long as he was employed he would never allow coverage”.

I signed up fir United Healthcare in September of 2021. They input my Medicare number wrong. I called 5 times because Medicare still has not received the new supplemental insurance information from them. Each time I have been assured it was fixed and the notice was sent. It is now March 29,2022. They say they will send it again on April 7 as they only send them out a couple times a month. This has been a nightmare. AARP needs to not be in business with them anymore. They only show I have called once even though I have noted names and dates of whom I spoke too. One time I had a chat going with a Medicare agent online while speaking to an agent on the phone. Medicare saying they have not... Read More

Almost every single day for the last year I have received junk mail for Medicare. I have called the company several times to be taken off their mailing list. I do not need, nor want, Medicare as I am a veteran and all my medical , vision, and dental needs are taken care of through the VA. Even one of UHCs that I spoke to was unaware of this and she said her husband and father are veterans. My last call was transferred to AARP. The call before that the representative was nothing but argumentative. When I asked for a supervisor she put me on hold for 13 minutes then disconnected the call. And you think I would even consider doing business with a company like this even if I needed/wanted... Read More

Beware of the so called dental benefits! I had two crowns put on two teeth that were 60% gone and had cavities and decay. They did not want to pay for one because they said the tooth was more than 50% left but my dentist said it was 60% bad! Then they did not want to pay for core buildup or pins for the crowns. I have never had a crown put on without pins or core buildup and its necessary to ensure the crown lasts. I never got a welcome package and every time I called to ask about something I literally got a different answer. They dont pay for dental unless its pre approved by them. They make it so hard that you dont even want to use their "so called" benefits as you will most... Read More

The way their transportation people handle customers and members of their company is pretty disgusting and I wish there was somebody I could talk to about it because I've been dealing with their unprofessionalism and unorganized establishment for years. Every time I call and ask to speak with a supervisor they just put me on hold for over 20 minutes. So I guess a one star review it is. Switching insurance providers ASAP and never returning to this insurance company. Should be ashamed of themselves. DO NOT USE THIS INSURANCE PROVIDER !!!! AT ALL. LIKE EVER !!!! CARESOURCE IS TRUSTWORTHY . DO NOT USE THIS INSURANCE COMANY you've been warned !!!!! Horrible customer service and blatant... Read More

Just something as simple as a password reset request cannot be done. If you get locked out of your online account to pay the bill good luck with that. It is evident they have outsourced their customer service to India. Look, everyone does this but whichever company has taken over literally do not know how to perform basic tasks. There are huge language barriers, dropped calls and lengthy periods of time where no one is speaking. I had to speak with 3 different people to get my password reset. Garbage, garbage all around.
