United Healthcare has repeatedly refused my wife's Remicade infusion. Remicade put her UC into remission and has saved her life. Her employer switched to United Healthcare in January and now they are putting her life at risk!

We have the United Healthcare gold plan, and thus far it has been the worst experience when trying to fill prescriptions. We don't know if it's different from state to state, but we recently moved to Charlotte, NC and our insurance plan changed as well. My husband and I are experiencing unusual wait periods, prescription rejections, savings cost that's being rejected by the pharmacy, and the copay cost ,more expensive , once calls are placed with United Health and the Pharmacist, copays are more expensive than what we're accustomed to paying, in 2021 we had a NJ-IAA multi-plan which carried Cigna PPO, our copay was $0-35 per prescriptions now in Charlotte, NC we're paying $40-60 per... Just signed up with them through Healthcare.gov. It is HARD to get someone online, their info is confusing and they send you to different departments to get a straight answer. I asked for a manager 3 times and got placed on hold for over 5 minutes each time. I'M DONE WITH THEM!!!

United Health Care is awful, they reject about 80% of the drugs I am prescribed, the procedures I am prescribed, and the doctors I am recommended. If you have a choice, get another insurance

After copious research, and having received multiple mailings from UHC since last March when they discovered I was on both Medicare Parts A &B and Level 1 MassHealth (Medicaid), urging me to enroll in their Senior Care Options (HMO D-SNP) duel eligible plan, I called them on 10/18 hoping to do just that. That day their CSR Rochelle told me a certified sales agent was going to call me. When that didn't happen, I called again on 10/26 at which time their CSR "Malia" made the same promise. Lacking any call by 11/5, I filled out a enrollment application at the UHC website and mailed it in. With no call to date, I contacted UHC on 11/16 and this time was introduced on the phone to a Josh... Read More

They say the cover something to get you sign and then there is all the hidden fine print where you pay more than what you would going without insurance.

I am in the process of dropping United Healthcare before I even start coverage. I have been on the phone for an hour. While I haven't counted the number of times I've been transferred, I am positive I am on my fifth transfer. Their call center is in India. It is not my intention to use an insurance company that has set up a system that requires me to be on the phone for an hour or more in order to take care of billing issues. I was over charged by almost $100 and am requesting a refund.

They are the absolute worst insurance I have ever had. They have denied coverage for a critical medication that I have used for the past seven years. Their investors would be wise to pay attention. The whole nation needs to know just how bad they are, and trust me, THEY WILL!

Nightmare, plain and simple. I receive up to 6 automated calls a week, sometimes as late as 8pm on Sunday nights! For 6 months I have asked them to stop but they do not. Today I was advised by a SUPERVISOR of UHC to just find other coverage if I had a problem with UHC. These ppl are rude and just do not give a s**it about you. There needs to be a way to give negative stars.

Keep your records straight. Their patient portal will not keep track of prior authorization or your out of pocket expenses and you will have to fight them in every claim
