Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I would give a zero if allowed for a rating. This is the worst company we have ever dealt with in 50 years. The customer service is poor, they leave you on hold forever. Our claim with them for electric issues was denied 4 times after the electric company was given an approval. Don't waste your money, look at BBB for reviews, not good.

My garage doors would not open past 2 feet. I went online and placed a claim in addition to calling them. My claim was denied before they ever knew what the problem was. They did not send out technician to check the problem; they told me to get someone to fix it. (With other companies I have found that they like to send their own people to try to repair the problem. ) Then upon sending them the itemized bill and a copy of the safety inspection from the repair service, I did not hear from them in the designated time that they were supposed to review my appeal.
