Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

The claims agents are polite and thorough. Like any insurance policy, be prepared. The fine print is where all insurance companies get out of covering a claim. I found SHW very helpful and understanding, but like always, I had to communicate clearly about the issue in order to get my claim covered.

Select Home Warranty has great customer service.After I spoke to them about a plumbing issue and filed a claim they quickly sent out the service team to assess the repairs and approved the claim.

Select Home Warranty is a rip-off. I have had two issues and neither was repaired or fixed. The last was a toilet that broke.

They claim to have the “Best sales rep. That can offer the best quality of service”. It is a lie. They have the Worst customer service, when you call, if they don’t like what you are saying, they hang up on you. They also have the Worst claims team, it takes more than a month to approve your claim, by the time you get your rights, you will be exhausted, that is if you even do get your rights.

This company is so bad. Please don't waste your money with Select Home Warranty. They just don't process any claims. It is very hard to get the job done with any fixes. They won't process claims properly and they won't approve claims in a timely manner. It is totally a JUNK company.......

We just finished our call service on our washer that was rumbling and shaking. The blade inside that spins the clothes was completely replaced for us. Processing and handling was done well and they made sure no water leaked all over the floor and any drips they cleaned. Real pros and a great warranty package.

No way I would live without a warranty after my current electrical outage. My warranty plan with Select covered all the damages and it was such a professional experience. Do yourself a favor and make sure to protect yourself, I am glad I did!

This company is garbage! It is a waste of money. They are more than willing to take your money but for facilitate the fixing of an appliance. I needed a $5 part for my dryer, I am going on a week and a half of no progress with them. I canceled the policy and will never do business with them again.
