Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Called to submit service request for my garage on January 3rd or 4th. I was told I will get an email to confirm the claim and vendor info. It is now the 17th, no one contacted me yet. I called again, this time they gave me garage door vendor info. I made an appointment for after 2pm tomorrow. I will update what happen next week. They better fix my garage door right away, I have been waiting for two weeks, I got an apology over the phone for NOT sending me an email confirmation on the claim.

I just came back from a long vacation to find the fridge not cooling down. I made an immediate call for claim to Select. They accepted the claim and I had a local appliance company call me within 3 hours. We arranged appointment and he came and replaced the motor. I only had to pay the service call fee.

Worst customer service ever!!! I'm 10 days into trying to get a technician out to repair my refrigerator. Select has sent me three names and either they don't get back to me after numerous attempts to call or the only technician I spoke with said he would not do business for Select Home Warranty anymore because they haven't paid him since February of 2018!!! They just want you to get your own service and try to have them pay you back but they never will. BUYER BEWARE!

These technicians that Select Home Warranty has that are part of the program are excellent, kind, friendly and clean. He quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired the dryer reasonably fast.

I usually never right reviews. I do believe something goes but stay strong and give chance. For 2017 and 2018, I was thinking I’m new customer, and they will improve and cover better nest. However, they always have different story about any claim. I bought SHW on 05/2017 for 3 years. Sale person was so good, made me buy for 3 years saying that they will cover all problem except cosmetic. Also, I can cancel my policy any time and will get refund., NO WORRIES. After talking to him and ensuring, they will provide all needed and necessary about repair, I paid for 3 year. 1ST claim went; they can’t cover because less than ninety days, I paid the difference from my pocket. after...
