Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

The company is fairly easy to work with however their policy is too limited in scope. Basic issues such as air conditioner Freon leaks and broken springs on the garage door are not covered. Most major breakdowns are covered but the minor breakdowns we all experience are not.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. This company comes up with ways to not pay claims. If you are smart you would run. I am reporting them to the Attorney general for my state. This company gives a new meaning for the word FRAUD! I paid for a 3 year contract and every time I called for repair, I was not provided service or they could not find a contractor.

Abraham did well explaining several options for me, including getting a better rate than originally stated. I'll have longer coverage at a more affordable rate. When I asked him to slow down, it helped so I could ponder the choices. By asking for my credit card several times, it felt a bit pushy. Overall, Abraham was very knowledgeable.

Adam was nice. He told me all the options of offers. Since I had a very bad experience with Choice Home Warranty he said he would give me a one time free service call when needed. I hope the switch proves to be a good switch.

Why won't anyone help us? Our washer broke 8 days ago on a Friday. Repairman came Monday morning and submitted his paperwork on Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon my husband called you and you said you didn't have it. My hubby sent you a copy of what the repair guy sent both him and you. Within 5 minutes we got a form email saying you received everything and someone would contact us in 24-48 hours. Hubby has placed at least 3 calls since...everyone saying essentially it is another department's fault. 8 days now of no washer...and since I do it only once a week (Fridays), it has been 2 week's worth of close. Took 4 loads to a laundromat yesterday because you do not honor your own contract.... Read More

Abraham was great and professional in our conversation. He offered me several options to get the best deal for us available. He answered my all my questions. I initially asked him to speak a bit slower and he was very polite and did just that. I hope any other dealings in the future will be as pleasant as this one was.
