Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Terrible service! Our front load washer went out and they "offered" us $150 to repair or replace it even though it stated clearly in our policy that "all modules, components and parts necessary to the functionality of the washer" were covered. I've tried to call MULTIPLE times and get the runaround!

The connecting line from the water to the ice maker under my fridge got damaged and SHW sent me a plumber who replaced the part. He did a job that took about 25 minutes-quick

trouble free replacement on a panel that would not stay closed on my HVAC unit. 5 days for appointment and then received call that he would be on time helped me a lot cause I was busy

You get what you pay for in regards to speed of service. My monthly fee is $30 and I have had a couple claims and each takes about two weeks to get the job done. The workers that come do their job in a short amount of time once they finally arrive. I recommend if you really have patients and are looking for the best price.

I will NEVER purchase Select Home Warranty again!!! Our stand alone ice maker needed repair. First it took TWO months for them to send someone out to fix it. The invoice was for $423.20. Select stated that they will only pay for $150.00 of the invoice. We have a $2,500 ice maker and if they "replaced" it we would get a "basic builder grade unit." She couldn't give the name of a unit that would or could be used. I spoke with Farjana, at Select, who explained all of this to me (not very clearly). It wouldn't necessarily fit under out counter where the current one is located. I asked where it would be put and she said anywhere. She doesn't seem to understand that it needs a water... Financially this product has been worth the cost. The previous summer did I have a problem with my pool and my coverage repaired it. This winter my boiler was spitting smoke and a rep came and repaired that too. A+ service

Years ago my home had a flood and the insurance guy told me that this could have been avoided if the sink was repaired sooner. From then on I scoured online to find a service like this one. Now they take care of my plumbing needs on a yearly basis and for 5 years now its been working.

Prestigious Home Repairs was sent to me from Select Home Warranty. I would rather the overall experience as good. They were late to the appointment-did a good job and answered all my questions.

My stainless steal Thor stove broke only after a year. It was very east to start a claim and having an appointment setup from Select Home Warranty. The technician was easily able to find the bulb since its such a new unit and install it with ease on the same day of repair.
