Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I Paid my annual Premium over 6 months ago, I have never had a claim until this weekend. I called and I was told I would get a e-mail from a plumbing Co. I waited 48 hours and never heard from someone. I finally called select they said my claim was denied. I asked why I wasn't told that by a phone call or e mail or something. They didn't have an answer so now I have to hire a plumber and see my water bill go high because I waited 2 days and have water running non stop in the bathtub. POOR POOR SERVICE REALLY NO SERVICE. I am a Realtor who has recommended hundreds of home warrantees and THIS IS THE WORST! The service is horrific. We waited 8+ days for a frig tech; 14+ days for a garage door opener tech, dozens of phone calls, many 45+ minutes on hold, no return calls and the worst service I have ever experienced. This space is not large enough to describe the details of how truly terrible they are. In 18+ years in real estate, they win the #1 prize for terrible service and fairness. Who leaves a customer on hold for 1 hour 9+ minutes. I will not only not recommend them, but I will continue to recommend against them within the real estate industry. THE WORST!

Workmanship is excellent with Region appliances that Select warranty sent to me today. 1 hour work time everything tested and confirmed working by them and me and now the dryer is heating and taking care of the clothes.

I would recommend SHW for the ease of operation when taking in my secondary regridge for repair and maintanance not only was the staff friendly but really experienced in appliances and setting the appointment call was fast.

I believe this is the worst company I have ever had to deal with, and I am surprised that they are still in business. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Buyer beware. The system requires me to rate them below before I can submit this review I would rate them a negative but am rating them a 1 so this will be posted.

Ticket creation of our claim this Christmas was met with friendly staff who understood what I was going through. They were my santa by saving me $800 over 3 claims over my yearly commitment. Renewal, yes I'll do it

What really counts is how Select home warranty handle claims and with five claims in 3 years the protection at Select Home Warranty is some of the best I have received and I highly recommend it for theprice.

Select's family of care Specialist never get annoyed when I called whether the claim was big(just once with my garage) or small(various appliances). This is why my husband and I agreed to stay with them and sign a long commitment.

Yesterday my roof started leaking from snow. I just finished with the Roofer and he did a fantastic job. I want to thank you Select for really doing a job well done. I have had a friend with another warranty company who had a really bad experience and I was really reluctant with mine but you came through on your promises.

Stay away from this company. Too many loopholes in contract. Horrible and expensive mistake. Customer service representatives impossible to work with. They cannot think on their own and only respond with talking points. You cannot escalate to a supervisor There are none. To resolve an issue I had to write.
