Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Last year I paid close to $3000 for repairs of home appliances and equipment. I also spent a lot of time in getting the repairs done. On my colleagues suggestion I opted for a $800 Select warranty plan. The year is about to finish and with three breakdowns, I have just spent around $200 more on technician fees and a few spares. I have now realised how economical and peaceful it is with Select.

I was struggling with another home warranty company and their services for the past two years. Seeing my plight, my close friend sent me the details on email for Select Home warranty. Thinking it to be like other home service companies I took the contract but realized the difference to my advantage within the first two months. I am going to stay with Select for a long time to come.

I am now going in for a three year contract with Select Home Service after having tried and tested the service in detail for more than 1.5 years. Having seen the quick response and effective working by the Select team, I agreed fully for a long term contract with them.

I HAVE GOTTEN NITHING BUT THE RUN ARIUND AND EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE TRYING TO GET REINBURSEMENT. ITS GONE ON FOR TWO MONTHS. I MADE A AIR CONDITIONER CLAIM CALLED IN SAID THAT IT WAS MAKING A HORRIBLE NOISE ALTHOUGH IT STILL WAS WORKING THE LADY TOLD ME THEY DIDN'T COVER NOISES I TOLD HER MA'AM THE NOISE IS SO DISTURBING MY NEIGHBORS ARE PROBABLY READY TO KILL ME SOMETHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO IT THEY STILL WOULD NOT COVER IT I HAD TO HIRE MY OWN AIR CONDITIONING PERSON TO HAVE THEM SAY THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT THEN THEY WOULD DO SOMETHING I'M WAITING ON THAT HUNDRED $129 TO BE REIMBURSED . Please due not subject yourself from the aggravation this company will bestow upon you. There add sounds good and so does the 4 stars. I paid in full online for the policy. When I received the contract in small print it says they will only pay $150 for a claim in the first three months. there is nothing in there ads that say this nor due they tell you this when going over the coverage. I had an AC claim for $267 and first they refused to pay it at all. After numerous phone calls they agreed to pay $150 which I accepted. My clothes washer has been consistently giving problems in the last one week. The technician arrived on the third day of my making the complaint at the Select office. However, he went into the intricate details and then resolved the problems one by one. Though there was delay initially but the approach and expertise impressed me the most.

The sales person sold me the "Platinum care plan" of select. Initially I got some brickbats from the family members for going in for it. Seven months later and with two equipment breakdowns behind my back I am being praised for choosing the right plan. Good work Select. Please keep it up.

The lighting fixture on the outside had broken and I raised a request for resolving the issue with Select. I bought a new fixture from the market and Select provided the service. The outside is now properly illuminated.
