Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Select home warranty sent the technician to attend the problem in my built in microwave system. The PCB was faulty and was recommended by the technician for replacement. The courier delivered the new part in two days and was replaced. Thanks for the belief and prompt decision making.

I handle two properties in two different states. My work requires me to travel to either location. Both the homes have to be kept ready and in perfect condition. For the repair and maintenance I depend on the Select home warranty and they have supported me well.

Run, don't walk, away from this company!!!! We fought them for 5 months over a pool filtration repair that is covered due to the EXTRA fee we paid. They told us we"failed to maintain" our pool- even when I sent them copies of routine service receipts completed by a professional company. I asked how they came to the conclusion we "failed to maintain" our pool when they have never even seen it. (It is VERY well maintained.) We had to use THEIR technician- who refused to call us back after we paid him. We paid over $500 and now 5 months later, we received a check for $200. There was a well pump that came with my house that I never used. I decided to save water in my house and use it. The pump was no longer functioning. It took about a week for the special order part and it was replaced new!!

There are 3 properties I maintain on the east coast. I have used Select Home Warranty to protect these properties. I have only had to make one claim on a built in microwave that wouldn't rotate. They sent someone out within 48 hours and had a Motor part ordered and replaced within 72.

This is my second experience with them, needless to say both experiences were terrible.  I was a customer to few other home warranty companies before, but haven't experienced the kind of horror I'm going through now with this (Select Home Warranty) company. My AC broke down and they assigned a contractor. Since the original contractor was too busy to give me an appointment, as per the suggestion of customer service representative, I hired another contractor do the diagnosis. The contractor diagnosed the issue and went for pre-authorization with estimates. I was asked to send the photos and proof of maintenance  performed. For the first year subscription to this home service plan I was offered a discount of 15% valid for the next six hours. It was a short time to take a decision but the offer was too lucrative to miss. Today, after having experienced the home service for 9 months I am glad that I took the right decision.
