Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Don't have many home warranty companies covering this area and that was an issue. The service provided by select employees has been always up to the mark and they are very friendly to discuss the problems faced by me.

We had this washing machine working for us for the past six years. When it started giving operating trouble, we thought the claims department would send someone to repair it. The technician told us that the machine was done for good. We got a brand new replacement and we are pretty happy with it.

I had a wonderful experience with this home service company. My Sump pump was fixed in a short time and they installed it back even faster. I must say that the work was done with a professional touch and the technician made it look simple. I would like to recommend them.

I paid for the extra coverage of a spa, and it's been a month and still no one to service the spa. I call every few days and they tell me to find my own service company. I thought the purpose of a home warranty was for the company to fix problems, not for myself to do it!!!! worst customer service ever!!!!! stay away!!!! RIP OFF doesn't coverage anything, there is a loop hole on their end for every claim. JUNK!!!!!!!

This is a total scam. Purchased home warranty when we closed on our home. 3 months later had a claim and they said they never received the check from title company so claim not covered. Title company overnighted new check and we then had coverage but not for first claim because they said that was now pre existing. 2 months later a new claim on fridge and they had no one who could fix problem. Said to hire our own and they would reimburse us. Took 2 months of phone calls and arguing to get $197. Took check to there bank to cash because we didn't trust them and guess what. Check no good. This company should be shut down. I can't believe they have great reviews. I got past all the 6 great... Read More

The worst customer service in this industry...for taking insurance and renewing Insurance they will keep on calling you. . . when it gets to claims...they have the worst contractors in market...I am dealing with a claim and already called select home warranty 12 times and didn't get any response. ....they are saying they didn't get the diagnosis from contractor...but contractor says he already submitted three times.... Claimed on July 28th for a dryer...today it's August 18th...no response on these guys... this is how bad the service is.... I used another company AHS couple years back they were much better than these guys... As a customer I will never recommend this company to... Read More

This company is absolutely horrible! They cannot get contractors to help, you can never contacted anyone and when you do they never returned your calls they just continue to give an extension number which leads to no follow up whatsoever. If you like getting the runaround and like being on hold for 30 minutes at a time then this is the company for you! It is less stressful to just flush your money down the toilet.

The drains in the home were slow in draining out. The claim was attended by the plumbing expert who was able to set right the drain flows in a matter of few hours. We were impressed and called him again within a period of six months but for a different plumbing issue. Extremely satisfied.
