Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

My husband recently filed a claim online for our dryer and the process was very easy. They had to order parts which kept me out of a dryer for a week, but other than that it wasn’t too bad. Their technician had excellent service and they usually take no longer than a day to contact us.

Select homewarranty must have paid to be on this list. They have some of the worst customer service and the companies that they contract with are terrible as well. Select is cheaper than most companies, but remember that you get what you pay for.

This company is horrible. My hot water tank started to leak. I had to have it replaced and they would not cover it because it was rusted on the bottom. Later on I had a slab lead and they don't cover that either. So explain to me what in the hell i paid you for. I think most home warranty companies are a rip off.

I filed a claim for the air conditioning unit over the phone, and in approximately 24 hours, a tech contacted me. And the service was very good. We've been with Select Home Warranty for quite a number of years, and we're very pleased with them.

I recently filed a claim for my air conditioning unit with Select Home Warranty. I did it in the evening and the appointment was scheduled immediately. The technician got in contact with me the next day. The service was very good and they were able to resolve my AC issue in about 3 days. They were very nice.

I purchased this warranty because I was relocating to a new area and wanted to have a service to call if something needed to be repaired in a timely fashion. I'm sorry to say I picked the wrong company. My AC is not working so I called the claim in about 6:30 am Monday, 5/1/2017. they sent an email about 11:30 am saying that a service person would call within 12 hours. I called the service person about 10 am on 5/2/2017 because they had not called me and the earliest they could get to me is Thursday 5/4/2017. This is the worse home warranty I have ever had in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not get them! I got a lean put against my house because they did not pay their portion to the heating company who came to fix our heater. They said select home warranty owns them thousands of dollars. this company is a joke! and you can never talk to a manager. they never call you back. terrible company!!!

These people called me. It was clear they were forei ers because I could barely understand this guy. He was rude and condescending. He lied about what it covered. I had already gone over the plan and when I questioned him about what he was saying , he swore at me and hung up.... I called back and tried to get a floor manager, I actually got the same guy ..he said he was someone else that is a upper management person in USA. I didn't think that was correct, but didn't question it. He became very rude and hung up. I called back again . Got another dept in the UDA...the lady I spoke with was mortified. I have been with Select Home Warranty since 2013. The representatives have always been helpful when filing my claims. The technicians assigned to make repairs were very professional and courteous. ll my repairs were always completed within a reasonable timeframe. I highly recommend them.

We've had Select Home Warranty for almost three years. For every claim we've made (whether it was as simple as there was no air conditioning or no hot water), every claim was (1) either "not covered", or (2) the response was delayed on getting a contractor for anywhere between 5-7 days (even for emergency situations). What makes such a long wait time for a contractor convenient for this business is, if you have to wait 5-7 days for their contractor to get to your problem, most people by that point will pay for the service themselves; therefore, Select Home Warranty stays in a profitable business for itself.
