ServicePlus offers two types of plans: Gold and Platinum.

Both of these have a series of optional add-ons, such as pools, spas, central vacuum, limited roof leaks, and septic systems, to name a few. Their pre-packaged plans can therefore be expanded to suit every homeowner's needs.

No home inspection is required to purchase a policy. Appliance and system coverage is guaranteed regardless of age, make, or model. However, maintenance records are required for service and the company has a pre-existing condition policy which is unusual in the industry and may limit coverage.

For a single-family home in a small midwestern city, ServicePlus' Gold Plan premium is $569. The company's Platinum plan for the same home runs $649. An annual contract is required for both plans and premiums must be paid on an annual basis.

ServicePlus does not require a home inspection. Coverage starts 30 days after you sign your contract. The company has a 30-day cancellation policy in place.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel this Agreement within the first thirty (30) days of the order date for a full refund of the paid contract fees, less any service costs incurred by us.

If this Agreement is canceled after thirty (30) days, you shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $50 administrative fee and any service costs incurred by us.

If we have provided services and the amount of the service costs incurred by us is greater than the contract fees paid, then no refund will be due to you.

I called Total Home Protection for help when our toilet became stopped up and overflowed. It was early in the morning, so they were able to get a plumber to come over after lunch. With three kids, it was important to get this fixed quickly. The contractor arrived on-time, was polite, in a clean uniform, and professional. He did the repair, cleaned up after himself, and we were all set! Great job!

I have had nothing but a pleasant experience with Total Home Protection. The staff has always been polite, conscientious, responsive and truly professional. About a month ago, I had a leaking pipe under my bathroom sink and I had to place a small bucket under it to catch the water. I called and submitted a claim and they sent a plumbing contractor out the next day. It turns out that the pipe had cracked due to normal wear and tear. I was very impressed with the contractor resolving the problem so quickly and the only out of pocket costs was my deductible. I am so happy with this warranty company and I highly recommend them.

We had just moved to Florida for my husbands new job and were planning on having a house warming party so we could get to know my husbands new co workers. We bought the food the day before, packed the fridge and 2 hours later my fridge had stopped working. All that food would have gone to waste, and the party ruined, if it hadn't been for Total Home Protection. My husband got our extended warranty with them when we moved in and I couldn't be any happier. Rubbish, i took out three year contract , last week our A/C start to give problem, so they send a men over to check it over, he said the fan blade and condenser need replacing, and its not covered under our home warranty, so the my tenant are left with out A/C, now we have to fork out $625.00 plus $60 to have the A/C fixed, be very careful when they say your A/C is covered, they don,t tell you all these things when they sell you the warranty, there is more things not covered in your A/C warranty then there is covered, read the policy before you take out any insurance specially with this company, i give them 0 for there service, would not renew with them again, so far they have not done... Let me tell you something about Total Home Protection. I purchased this warranty when we purchased a new furnace. It covers all appliances and more in my home. So, I was getting ready to take a shower after doing the dishes. As I was finishing up, I noticed that the water was getting cooler. I continued to let it run for a few minutes until it was completely cold. Well, so much for my shower. When I went to see what was going on and I found the hot water heater to be leaking real bad. Taking time out of a busy work schedule to send a very big thank you to the Total Home Protections customer service representative. I called in in a frantic panic because I had a pool party coming and my pool's pump went out. My pool is an add on to my total home protection plan, which I need. The representative was very sympathetic with me and explained everything in detail and helped calm me down. She was able to get a repair man out quickly and on time. He was able to repair the pump in time for the party. Hands down to customer service at Total Home Protection for being so nice and making my life easier. I am renewing my THP warranty for sure.

I recently bought my first home and my friend recommend that get an extended home warranty through Total Home Protection because some of the things in the home are aging. Let me say this: I’m glad I listened to them. Two months after I moved in my refrigerator just stopped working, I called Total Home Protection and they arranged for someone to come check it out. The service guy inspected the fridge and cleaned it and was able to fix it. I was so happy. Everyone should have this service.

So, on what could have been the most humid day of the summer, my air conditioner decided it didn't want to work anymore. I gave a call to Total Home Protection and they were able to send out a contractor that afternoon. After trying to fix the unit, it was deemed dead. The repairman chatted with THP and they arranged to get a new one. He left to go back to the warehouse and returned with the new unit and a helper. They installed it and by the evening we were cool again. The policy just paid for itself and all I paid that day was my deductible. Johnathan at THP was really helpful and the service guys were very nice and thorough. I am so glad I got the extended warranty when we moved in.

If you don’t think that you need an extended warranty, you might want to reconsider. Total home protection has helped me in some of the hardest times I’ve been through. On a hot July day my air conditioner went out. I do have a toddler and an infant. I was so worried that we would be without air for a few days. I was totally wrong. I called the customer service hotline and within 3 hours that day, they had arranged for someone to come fix my air. My girls were so happy when it came back on as was mommy. All I had to pay was my deductible.
