My Mom accidentally set off her alarm, and unfortunately, I missed the call. Bay Alarm dispatched and within minutes, Emergency crews were there. While it scared me half to death to hear about how they made there way into the home while my Mom was watching a Soap Opera and eating an apple...I was comforted to know that in the emergency, they will act promptly to ensure her safety. I've had Bay Alarm Medical Alert for my Mother for the last 4 years or so. Up until 5 months ago, we had never used the Alarm. It was great piece of mind, knowing that if something happened, Mom could call for help. Five months ago, Mom had a medical procedure and I was at home looking after her. This procedure had been very hard on me. We are a very close family and the thought of loosing my mother was very hard on me. One night Mom called for me to come to her room, and I passed out. She used her call button and Bay Alarm Medical sent an ambulance, not for her...but for me! It works! Unfortunately, Mom was ill a couple of weeks ago, and she used the button again. Mom has fallen twice in the past six months and has used her alert to get help there quickly both times. Would like to suggest a program to put the service on hold ( including cost refund) for time when a customer is in the hospital and or rehab facilities for an extended period (i.e. 2-3 months, etc.). I suppose we could cancel service but seems better for customer and Bay Alarm to suspend it. Thanks,

Bay Alarm provides good service. It can be a bit confusing to differentiate their phone number and business from their other security company. I was frustrated with the limited ways you can pay for their service. I do not like paying several months in advance for services I have not received. I do not like having companies withdraw money from my account. I prefer to pay 1 month in advance and make the payments with my on-line banking service. When I spoke to their customer service representative about payment options her attitude was "our way or the highway." My elderly mother needs the service, so we complied with their terms - but it does not make me want to recommend this company to... Read More

Always a pleasure to deal with compenent, pleasant people. Even when alarm was hit accidentally, they responded in a quick, curtious and understanding manner. I've recommended them to several friends and family.

Got the alarm for one year and paid $270. One week after the first year expired my Dad refused to use the device. I was told by customer service that even though we turned the alarm, the $270 fee could not be waived or pro-rated. Seemed kinda unfair.

I've had Bay Alarm for four months. I've tested the device a few times and Bay Alarm was right there to check on me. I also had a power failure and they acted on that as well, first by checking on me but when my phones didn't work because of the power failure Bay Alarm contacted my kids to tell them of the power failure. I can't wait to have a real bad fall, maybe break a leg and unable to get to the phone when Bay Alarm calls and to see how fast my kids get here.

My mother in law has had a couple of instances where she had to use your service. My husband and I were very appreciative of the service that your call center staff provided, both times. The staff were professional and efficient. They made sure my mother in law was taken care of and they promptly contacted both myself and my husband to communicate exactly what was happening. They gave us piece of mind in what could have been two very chaotic situations.
