We were suppose to move from Michigan to California and were searching for good and professional movers. On the first place, Cross country movers are not even a moving company, they are just a broker company with their business operated just with phone and nothing else. At first, this sales guy called Robert used to call me repeatedly to book both Car and Household movement through them and he promised they will deliver things by 10 days. My bad days triggered immediately after booking through them. They handed over the contract to a moving company called Arena Van lines. Cross Country Moving Group are our go-to company ... We met them in 2018 and have used them several times as our business has grown over the past 8 years. Their team is courteous from the first call until they pull out of the driveway with their truck unloaded. They are reliable and have always over-delivered on their commitments.
Cross Country Moving Group (CCMG) will deliberately keep your original estimation low until you sign the contract and put down an initial deposit. We were originally quoted ~$8,000 from a move from California to New York. We put down a 50% deposit and waited for our move. During the wait, we received two separate phone calls from two separate agents of the company wanting more information about the household goods being moved. They showed up early, wearing masks and so willing to help us in every way. My husband and I were a little behind in packing and they helped us wrap up boxes and furniture. They were so kind, polite and helpful.
This was the best moving experience I've ever had. They managed to fit the freight truck in the alley next to my building and he was so patient and incredible. These men are the most kind and helpful movers. I really enjoyed spending the morning with them as they helped me get settled in my new place! Wow. 10000 stars if I could give them that!
They made sure everything was secured and handled with care. They disassemble and reassemble all your complicated furniture - they are truly incredible.
They were very enthusiastic about their jobs and they took good care of my stuffs and nothing was broken from the house to the storage. I will use Cross Country Moving Group's service again for my future moving , thanks again.
These guys were awesome!!! I moved too many times to admit - it's like embarrassing. So I know a good group. Guy in his late 30's maybe older, was wrapping my more important things in a way that had me standing there amazed/staring/drooling .
After contacting plenty of different moving companies we decided to go with Cross Country Moving Group because they are truly top notch and with the best deals in the area. The 2 guys who moved my things were very quick and pleasant to deal with. I wouldn't choose anyone else for future moves and I am so happy with their service! This company was prompt and professional and responded with a quick turn around. I called yesterday afternoon for help moving heavy appliances and furniture from 2nd and 3rd floor to ground and They were here first thing this morning. The mover came with a helper they wore their Covid protection equipment and gear and did the job promptly and we're very clean. (Quiet too didn't even wake up my kids) And he was very affordable. Not to mention nice guy and very helpful. Also very flexible with offering various payment options
