I contacted my home warranty company about my home heater and a/c unit not working properly. They contacted Sears who then subcontracted to A&E Factory Service. Edwin C. came out to my home he was in my home less than 5 minutes. He went up in the attic and came right out. He then said that I needed to pay him the service fee and that he was done. I questioned him because he had only been in the for a short period of time. I asked if he had opened the unit or taken pictures and he said no that he didn't need to. A&E Factory Service customer service sucks! I called LG for a warranty claim and they set up a service call with A&E. The tech came out on 1/21 & did a diagnosis and determined that our compressor has failed. This is a known issue with LG refrigerators (ours is 6 years old and in flawless condition) and since that part is under a 10 year warranty I will only be responsible for labor & any incidental parts needed for the repair. David W was the technician that came out yesterday. He said I needed a new ice maker and I paid $388 for the part to be ordered. It’s now working so I texted him this morning to cancel. He was no help and said to stop texting. I finally found a number on your website for my area to call. The number on the email drops immediately. The attitude of the tech is totally unacccptable. I would like a follow up call to discuss his rude behavior.

Your reputation and the above reviews speak for your company. Well your technician lied today and I refuse to sit back and let you rob me of my $1100.00. Your technician lied and stated that he came to my home and tried to repair my dishwasher today (2/1/22) He never showed up at the designated time and then at the end of the day he sent a text stating the service had been completed. He then informed Best Buy of this and now they state that they will not honor my expensive extended warranty. Again, if there was a zero stars rating, that's what I would give it. Between not having people available, rescheduling on the day the service was to be preformed, lack of meaningful communication, and talent of service people, if there was an alternative for warranty work, I would choose ANYONE instead of A&E. If it's not warranty, please use someone else that you can trust.

It's obvious that no one wants to use this company, but do you have a choice? My new GE refrigerator stopped working in October 2021, so as it was under warranty, I called GE to get a repair. A&E is the one that showed up in December. Same story that is repeated dozens of times below. At first I thought I'd never buy another GE product, but after looking at the reviews below, it is obviously not about just one manufacturer. Good day. First, look at the comments below mine. Your company sucks! I was scheduled for an appointment today from 8-12. I received 3 texts confirming that fact. At 12:00, I called the 800# that a Frigidaire representative gave me. I chose choice 1 for someone with an appointment. It said I would receive a text with your website info. I did and chose to chat with an agent. That went no where and continued to show loading for quite some time. I saw an 888 number which I then hung up with the loading call and called that number. I will never use this company or suggest that anyone does. They can't provide bad service because they don't provide service at all. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They did nothing but waste my time. Service was scheduled twice. The first time they came an hour late with no parts and didn't fix anything. I rescheduled for a week later and again they were an hour late this time with a phone call saying they had no parts. I'm done dealing with this inept company. I hope they go out of business.

Do not use A&E Factory Service!!! If I could give them zero stars I would! They came to replace a gasket in my washer (washer was working ok) but ended up breaking it such that it no longer worked. This washer is in my hair salon so we do multiple loads of laundry a day. They told me it would be 2-3 weeks and I spent 6 hours on the phone trying to find someone to help me. Finally they promised me that as soon as the part they needed arrived, they would come right out and fix it. Now I have the part and they are saying it will be a week! In November 2021 our stove failed. Sears, though closed in this area, sent a Rep from A&E Factory Service to give a repair estimate. The fee was $99. I wrote a personal check in that amount and handed it over. A month later, SEARS is claiming it has not received this fee. The bank claims the check has not been posted. I want to know what happened to that check? No contract for repair was made with the A&E Factory Svc Rep; he was only paid the estimate fee. His repair estimate was the cost of a new stove; while the repairs recommended seemed ridiculous.
