This comment is in reference to an ongoing repair service. I am expressing my dissatisfaction with A&E Factory Services. I requested an appointment for repair for my Frigidaire Refrigerator. My original appointment was scheduled for February 17, 2022. The Technician arrived as scheduled. I was told that my refrigerator needed a replacement Electronic Control Board. The Board was ordered and arrived at my resident within a week (February 23, 2022). An appointment to replace the board was scheduled for February 28, 2022. I got a call on the morning of February 28, 2022 (9 a.m.), saying that the Technician was sick and I would have to reschedule. Appointment was rescheduled for... Read More
Samsung sent A&E to my house to fix my dryer!! A&E charged me $300.95 to replace a $15.00 drum roller part, it took less than 15 mins to install!! Technician would not give me a price quote even though he knew what the problem was immediately!! I was given no option to refuse his service, before I knew it the dryer was pulled apart, then he announced the cost HMMM!! When I questioned him he became quite rude and hostile, I became afraid of him, I just wanted him out of my house, so I was forced to pay this exuberant amount. He told me that if I purchase a warranty for $50 a month he would only charge me $150 to fix the dryer!! I reached out to the company, they were just as hostile, they... Read More

A and E Service is a terrible company to deal with. The technicians are pleasant and seem knowledgeable but the scheduling and appointments are a joke. No shows, rescheduled appointments without informing customer. Given the 4-5 hour timeframe for appointments is ridiculous when they don’t show up. Customer has to take off of work then A and E doesn’t show up. I’m very concerned that I’ll never get my refrigerator repaired.
Absolutely the worst experience I've had in years. Our brand new dishwasher arrived "not working." Not A&E's fault, for sure. We called the manufacturer, they sent out the service call to A&E, and a visit was scheduled for 2 weeks later. So, we waited. The tech never showed up while I waited home ALL DAY rescheduling business meetings, picking up my kids from school. Later that day, I got an email that said it was rescheduled for 5 days later. OK, so we wait, again. The second day, they arrived 1.5 hours past their "appointment window." Ok, so they are here. We will survive. The tech said it needed two parts, one for sure, maybe two. Terrible company, super expensive. Paid $140/hr for technician. Can never actually call company, goes to Indian call center where they have no information.
I needed my Samsung dryer repaired and was given A&E Factory Service contact. I had a good idea that it was the belt and gave the scheduler all the info needed. Everything went pretty well until I HAD to sign for the ESTIMATE. I had to choose either to pay the diagnostic fee and not get it repaired or pay for insurance of $50 pm for a year to get the price of $153.16 or go with the repair of the estimate cost of $306. 33. In my calculations it was 50% of the cost if they lock you into an insurance which would have cost $600 a year. Being as all my other appliances were new I obviously went with the ESTIMATE. Poor Business Work Ethics and Services. If it is warranty work, they will Milk the Job over Months
I called the warranty service department for my washing machine and scheduled to have my Maytag washing machine looked. We purchased a 3 year additional warranty and it is out of the manufacturer's warranty. The service was scheduled through A&E, who I have dealt with pre-pandemic for things that were purchased through Sears before their local store closed down where I live. The last time I had dealt with them was 4+ years ago warranty repair on a TV and they were stellar. This time just trying to get them here to look at the washing machine is proving an issue.
