We needed replacement of compressor for our LG Refrigerator and LG appointed A&E Factory Service. Parts were delivered on time and the tech (Bill) was very knowledgeable about the repair needed. He was very professional and did a very good job in a timely manner. I am very satisfied with their service.
No idea how this company has any star rating. It is the absolute worst customer experience I have ever had in my life! They are not only inadequately trained or capable. They actually try to gaslight you on what is or is not broken. They literally caused a leak in my house and stated they would be back the next day. Not only did they not show up, but when I call the toll free number with the issue they said the earliest they could come back out was 2 weeks later. Did I tell you they left a water leak in my house? Technician said he never replaced a door before so was trying to figure it out....He DIDNT figure out and had no help to call. Just left it and was gone!
This company needs to be investigated by the Consumer Affairs, State Attorney General and The Consumer Protection Agency. Their service is below a “ZERO” in customer service, keeping appointments, professionalism and availability. If you’re reading this complaint, you are more than likely frustrated with the so-called company founded in 1926. My journey with LG refrigerator speaks volumes why I would not buy another LG “Nothing”. A&E Factory Service has kept me holding for over an hour, canceled at the last minute after waiting a month and advised they couldn't send nobody else out until another 3 weeks. BUT I DIGRESS!
A&E Factory Service Appliance is the worst repairing company that I have been working with. The technician is unprofessional and rude. The technician does not have any knowledge about the high-end refrigerator. However, he told me he is certified to repair this high-end refrigerator. He spent 3 hours and could not identify the issue. He took out a good part and install a new part. However, the issue is still there. Never work with A&E Factory Service Appliance.
Your customer service sucks! There is a waiting time of over an hour.
Took 5 weeks to get a $28 dryer part easily available on Amazon Prime one day delivery or most any appliance parts supply house. Techs C*****n and M****Y were great. A&E's Customer Service on the other hand is anything but customer service, they seem to have a tendency to "mislead" or use "alternative facts". In order not to make this a book I'll spare you the dialog of all 10 phone calls between May 21, and June 28th and just focus on the last 3. Fraudulent company. Home Depot Protection Plan department should be ashamed to contract with A&E. I have not had a refrigerator since May 28th. I had an appointment on June 10, 2021 for refrigerator repair. The technician, Terence, never showed or called; but, I received an email saying nobody was home, that I needed to reschedule. My neighbors were at my house all day, until 5. Nobody received a call or text. My other neighbor showed me her security video for June 10th and no vehicle came to my house or in our cul-de-sac. After reading others comments, I wish I would have looked this totally crap company up! A and E is ridiculous and a scam. Tech came out on 6/23/2021 for u guessed it LG refrigerator, was here 5 minutes and stated it needed replaced! Didn’t even look at anything, he called someone said would need replaced and hung up. Told me “someone would contact me within 1 business day about how it would be handled. After waiting 2 days I tried A and E and you can’t get passed message system if they have your phone number wrong or you don’t have a service repair number! This company is a joke. They rescheduled me once so I then I took the day off for my rescheduled appointment and on my way home the technician called and said he was running late and he doesn't get paid for overtime and he just rescheduled me for another day without asking me. They came out once before and told me there was nothing they can do but never reported it to my American Shield my warranty company.
Total scam!! I’ll ask for a technician that could repair icemakers. The repairman looked at the icemaker for one minute and told me he knew nothing about them and left. He also said the company must’ve made a mistake. Since then I have received invoices of which I have sent two formal letters contesting their charges. No reply and now they have turned me over to a collections company. I refuse to pay this bill!
