If I could give negative stars I would. GE contacted them to repair my washing machine that was under warranty. It worked perfectly fine during cycle, but at other random times it would attempt to pump water out of the machine (phantom cycling) The first tech determined this was what was going on and ordered the part. 4/28 they sent another tech out, he installed the new part, but did not check it. Now the washer is no longer working, It will add water but not spin or remove water. It also shows incorrect times for the cycles like 2 minutes for the "Normal wash" I call them back the same day. Great! in a Small Town in Oregon Curry County. A&E Tech Came on time was very nice. Diagnosed the issue and got us the parts we needed. My Advantuim 240 Volt Oven is Good As new!. Thank you . Anyone in Brookings , Gold Beach Oregon that is unsure.. A&E as a Tech named James that is Great!. Give them a Shot.
This company is trash, unprofessional, their veracity is non existence, and they avoid their customer's calls! I have paid for parts and other fees; and parts have been sitting in my house for days now! The technician assured me that he would be out the next day because he overnighted the correct part, well how about I have not received the new part that was supposed to replace the wrong part that was ordered! How about their automatic system states that I have an appointment today and they will text the information to me, but haven't and that I don't believe they will come to complete the job today either? Your representatives hang up on customers if you ask for a supervisor. Your representatives LIE to the customer. Took 82 minutes to get a supervisor on the line. Then told oh we don’t service your area... wth! Told hire a local and money comes out of your pocket! Brand NEW appliance! Would not recommend them to ANYONE. They suck!
We have an LG Fridge that has quit cooling on April 24th, so this is starting day six, finally got through LG service to be scheduled with A&E but their first service is May 19th, this is ridiculous to call service and we are 75 and 82 years of age and trying to live out of a RV fridge located in a vehicle in our driveway. The fridge by the way was purchased in late summer of 2016 with a ten year compressor warranty. Lot's of Luck on that one. Terrible service by LG and A&E. Don't go with either

My machine flood my kitchen and living room on February 15. Their days of service in the Long Island area does not include a Friday or Saturday. I had to change my patients appointments to accommodate their schedule. They were due to arrive April 22nd. Well on April 21st the contacted me to say they do not have an available technician and they have to change my appointment which now means I again I have to change my patients schedules again to accommodate them. I don't see how anyone can find this acceptable. At this point they don't even deserve one star.
This repair service is a total rip off. DO NOT CALL THIS OUTFIT. I called Sears Service repair for help with a Kenmore refrigerator leaking water dispenser. Repairman came on time and diagnosed the problem as a valve in the dispenser. DUH! Said it was a going to cost $105 for the new valve which would have to be ordered and then $500 for the labor plus tax for both labor and part. He told me it would take an hour of labor to install. I told him that was unreasonable and refused the repair. I was then on the hook for the $99 plus tax diagnostic fee. Tried to pay with cash--NO ; then I offered to write a check --NO; then he told me only credit cards were accepted and not AMEX.... Read More
We purchased a plan to cover our new Frigidaire refrigerator from Lowe's. After 7 months it quit working. We called for service and it was going to take 2 weeks for someone to come out to diagnose the problem. We called Lowe's to ask for a loaner and they brought one out in a few days. The first appointment went well - diagnosed the problem - ordered the parts - said they would be delivered to us - they were - made the follow up appointment for 3 weeks later. Called to make sure the appointment was still on - it was. No contact by the repairman at all so I knew someone was coming. A&E is so bad to give even a 1 star. Their technician came for my refrigerator and found the compressor is broken and under LG manufactory warranty. They charged $305 for this finding and asked me to contact LG. I called LG and was told the technician should call LG to get the parts for the compressor. After that the technician never showed up again. I called A&E many times. They seems either totally lost about the service request, or they promise something but never happened. Instead of repairing my refrigerator, every tome they try to market and sale siding to me. Now after 2 weeks I have to find another service provider. Avoid A&E!
Do not use them. They are a scam company. There calls to contact them go to Mexico and the Philipines. They cannot help you. Our repair person lied to Home Depot after coming to our house 7 times for the same repair. Home Depot paid A and E alot of money for 7 visits and denied our claim for a damaged refrigerator
