40 of the 41 comments I read give this company one star. It's true they are by far the worst service company I have ever encountered. American Home Shield sent them out to replace the leaking seal on my front load washer here in the Austin Texas area on December 7 2020. The man arrived at 10 AM in a beat up unmarked black mini van with Florida license plates on it. The rear hatch wouldn't even open so he had to crawl through the back seat to get his tools in the back. He worked on the Bosch washing machine until 12 PM midnight! When he finally left the machine was still disassembled with several pieces left off such as the front door and access panels with small parts including screws... Read More

Three times failed to repair Samsung ice maker under warranty. Waited all day today for Samsung dryer repair, called to say they were on the way, then texted will be out in two weeks.
A&E Factory Service is the worst appliance repair company I have ever used. Never again! They don't show up most of the time and don't call. They skip the appointment (lost a days wages) and then you have to get in line and wait another month for them to do it again. Will not buy an appliance or extended warranty from any company who uses A&E
Called CHW on 10/6 they set up appointment with A&E for 10/19 . On 10/19 no one showed up after I waited all day (9 hour window) no one called, I called them 3 times and spent aprox. 2 hours on hold. CHW rescheduled for 10/26 I called service man locally and he was here within 2 hours, diagnosed problems with Kenmore washer and now we are waiting for CHW to approve reimbursement. A&E customer service stinks.
In August 2020 A & E repair tech damaged my frig by putting a scratch across the front when he pulled the ice panel out and let it hang. I filed a request to fix. Just finally got word today two months later. They will not because he flat out lied saying he did not pull the panel out. That it was not required in order to repair the frig. I was told I can get an attorney if I want to fight their decision. I will NEVER let anyone from A & E Factory set foot in my house again. This was the second tech to show, the first one came in stared at my frig, then was on his cellphone grumbling, asked if I use crush ice or cubed. A&E Factory Service visited me this morning. I was somewhat lees than impressed with the individual and his knowledge of standard electrical systems. the Sears unit I own and his function in life. I recently suffered a debilitating injury that made it impossible for me to handle the repair. The first statement out of his mouth was to move the dryer away from the wall, or turn off all electricity in the house. He could not figure out how to get to the dryer plug and unplug it. The problem, just as I told Sears on the phone, was the dryer linear thermal fuse. a total of 15 minutes to fix. The bill, $300.89. WHAT A RACKET! Online they sell for between $2 and $20. Complete waste of time. Old lazy guy shows up after waiting a week and his only goal was to establish why he couldn't fix the refrigerator. No effort to do anything. This person was a waste of human existence. Why bother having a company, hiring and sending the laziest person alive.
I scheduled an appointment to have my LG refrigerator repaired with Lowes on Friday, 9-25-2020. They told me I would be referred to A and E Appliance repair, for repairs on Monday, 9-28-2020, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. I received confirmation from A and E Friday, 9-25 at 4:38 PM I called the number A and E left in email. Monday morning around 7:00 AM. They didn't answer until almost 8:00 am, and proceeded to tell my request was canceled on Friday. I told them I didn't request an appointment until Friday. The person answering the phone stated someone called in Friday and canceled the request. She wouldn't give me a Telephone number, email, or a name. I filed a complaint with Lowes... Read More
I set up an appointment for a refrigerator repair in August. Was scheduled for September 15. Took a day off of work to wait for repairman plus my husband was home all day. I called that morning and was told that the repairman would be at my house between 10 and 12, I was the second service call. He never showed. I called A&E and was told he would be there between 12 and 2. He never showed. I called again and was told he would be there before 5. I later received a text rescheduling my appt. for October 22.
