By the way the cost of replacing a kenmore elite linear compressor under warranty is $700.37. Hope this helps in your decision.

I gave 1 star because I couldn’t go any lower. Shady business practices. Would not give me any answers to my refrigerator compressor problem when I called. The bad compressor was diagnosed by my regular appliance repairman but he couldn’t replace it due to the warranty. Had a and e given me the cost for replacement I would have just said no and purchased a new fridge. Only a tech is aloud to give those answers and you have to pay $170 to speak to one. I could have purchased the compressor online and had my technician do it cheaper than sears charged for an item under warranty. A & E Appliance Repair has provided possibly the worst customer service I have seen in my long lifetime. Constantly delayed service, rescheduled only to delay again...time after time. Do NOT do business with any company affiliated with them.

I've had my appointment cancelled multiple times now and my LG refrigerator has been broken down for weeks. My cooler is a makeshift refrigerator and I'm extremely upset by the run around and lip service I've been getting. I decided to go on social media and complain everywhere since A&E is unresponsive and continues to cancel appointments. Based on what I've read elsewhere and my experience to date, I have no doubt in their ability to screw things up. I fully expect them to yet again delay and then ultimately botch the repair if and when it finally takes place.

This company freaking SUCKS!!!! We have had numerous services for a leaking washer which continues to leak!! It has now leaked so much that the electronics are burnt out from being under water. The service tech did not show up to our last scheduled appointment even though every time I checked A&E showed our appointment was still active. Then after an entire wasted day of waiting the tech calls to tell me the service had been cancelled!!! We were not told. So they scheduled another service date but did not ask us if the date would work. THEY decided when to make it. We rescheduled to a date that would work for us. After calling over a week ago I was scheduled for a refrigerator repair yesterday, the repairman named Eddie driving either a Sears or A&E Factory Service truck; the repairman came to our house but didn’t make contact, just left a note, even though we had talked with him less than half-an-hour earlier and assured him that we would be home. Called the service center after the service call time frame and was told that somebody would contact me for repair that evening. Again, no call. Calls this morning are answered by a computer. RUN!!! A&E is a terrible, huge corporation that has terrible customer service. We were lucky that we got a great service tech, but his hands were tied by the company to fix our refrigerators......both were down and not cooling. A&E is owned by SEARS and that's why we purchased the warranty on all our other appliances. It's worthless. Out tech, Chris, was actually in our driveway and A&E canceled our appointment! I don't blame him, he received the info from A&E dispatch. They said WE canceled the appointment! It took FOUR reschedules to get our refrigerators fixed. At least we had a great service tech. I have never experienced any thing like them. $800.00 Four service calls, 6 re-scheduled appointments ( them) and four months later. My refrigerator still isn't working. I call the guy that worked on it, he doesn't answer phone and doesn't reply to messages. DO NOT USE A & E WOULD BE MY SUGGESTION !!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! i HAVE A SEARS HOME WARRANTY THAT ISNT WORTH THE PAPER IT IS WRITTEN ON! AND THEY USE A&E FACTORY TO DO THE REPAIRS. i HAE ALWAYS HAD TO WAIT AT MINIMUM 2 WEEKS FOR ANY REPAIR JOB. I am so mad at your company. your people ordered 2 of the same part then made 6 different apts to install the part that was delivered on 4/27 (the duplicate order was in transit still) instead of cancelling the duplicate order you made me AM & PM apts on 4-28 and 4/29 and then cancelled me again and rescheduled for 5/2 I lost 3 days of work and now a fourth 1/2 day. AND THE PARTS WERE SITTING IN MY HOUSE DELIVERED ON 4-27 TEH ENTIRE TIME. No way to talk to a human being and your chat people were USELESS they lied to me 7 times
