Do not buy from Lowes anymore and their warranty!We’ve called Lowes since The beginning on October 2021 for ourSamsung washer that just stops washing. They send out a repair man that was very limited in English and hard to understand and ever told us what the issue was. He said it works. Apparently after not hearing from any repair for a couple weeks I called to find out the part needed for repair was on back order and to call back weekly. I did this for 2 months that repair company Lowes sent out. I finally called Lowes to see what the hell is going on?, Get this it is already December. Well I see from reading through here that I'm not alone. In spite of my extended warranty on my fridge, here I am, 2 months after it stopped cooling with zero resolution. Their service provider repeatedly cancels service and has already told me there is nothing more that they can do to repair the fridge, but still I have to wait for them to come and do whatever to it while they reschedule time after time. Lowes CSRs lie and lie and lie - they are trained to lie no matter what. They will not even cover enough for me to continue to rent a fridge so soon I will be completely screwed. Shame on you Lowes. The extended warranties they sell are a scam - do not purchase - we purchased a three year extended warranty for our fridge 2 years ago - we scheduled an appointment and the company that Lowes contracts with - NAREFCO - called us to confirm (after Lowes sent us an email confirming) we tried calling back - no one ever answered - tried leaving a message - mailbox was always full - finally the day of the appointment we finally got hold of a person at NAREFCO who said since we did not respond they cancelled and we would have to call Lowes to reschedule - we called Lowes again and explained what happened - they tried calling the company - and again - no answer - so Lowes scheduled another... We bought a new Samsung dishwasher from Lowe's almost 3 years ago. In addition, we bought a new washer/dryer, stove and refrigerator from Lowe's. We have had problems with the dishwasher from the start - the soap dispenser malfunctions. We have had your repairmen come out 4 times now only to find the same problem. We were promised a new dishwasher several times if it wasn't fixed "this" time. I am sitting here waiting for a repairman to show up "sometime" today. I can't get an estimate for when he will arrive from the unhelpful young phone operator. I've been buying appliances from Lowe's for years. NO MORE! Buyer Beware! If you need a warranty, I would shop elsewhere. We purchased all the appliances for our kitchen from Lowes and got an extended warranty on our fridge and double oven unit. As it turns out, the Fridge stopped cooling after 1.5 years, so we called Lowes and then sent out a local company in Central NY called Northshore Appliance. The tech came out the first time and unplugged/plugged in the compressor and said, let's see if that works. I report back the next day saying it did not work, so he says to get a thermometer for the fridge to see what the temps are. So we buy one and confirm the fridge is at 50 degrees. I purchased an extended warranty on a Samsung Gas Dryer. I’ve had previous repairs done by differing service providers. It is now giving the “vent sensor” error again. The time and date Lowes Warranty repair give you are always a week or more out than what someone will actually come out to address your issue. Even the warranty repair agent told me their scheduling system never syncs up with the service providers. A technician has come out twice in recent weeks with TEKNITON but never fixed the issue. The error message returns soon after use after they leave. They had me run it on a refresh cycle after I told them the clothes were still damp after 2 cycles on steam wrinkle release. They... Twelve days after reporting my oven is shutting down and locking its door when I heat it up, Lowe's Protection Plan warranty folks have not yet sent a repair person to fix it! At first they told me there was no authorized repair for my Bosch range here on the Monterey Peninsula. Then after the next call when I told them I had found an authorized repair business within 10 miles of my home, they informed me that they didn't have a contract with them. Then they said they would find a source by the sixth business day after my having made the report. That day came and went without any call to me. DO NOT BUY WARRANTY. They will not answer phone nor call back. Water heater not working. Looked up warranty and called number. Received a recording to leave message or call during time they mentioned. I decided to call next morning. Recording said to stay on hold or leave phone number and someone would call back in 12 minutes. I left my number. Waited for 1 1/2 hours. No call back. I called and put my phone on speaker. No one answered. Just a repeated message. After 1 hour I disconnected. I call a local business and it cost me $105 to fix water heater. I would like to mention. Go to Home Depot.
