Service tech was professional, and efficient. He quickly assessed and completed tasks. I was very please.
The service tech was friendly and on time. He got right to it and offered great advice.
I will not continue my business with AHS. I live in Arizona and we are currently experiencing a heat wave. I woke up to my AC not cooling (of all days) and my home thermostat is currently at 96 degrees (and we are definitely feeling it), the current weather is 104 degrees. I immediately went online scheduled an appointment, called the contractors explained my family's needs, and was told that I would have to wait another 2 days for my AC to be serviced and they could not give me a time. Today is Tuesday, June 14, 2022, the appointment is for June 16, 2022, time - unknown. I looked up the temperatures for June 15th & 16th, and it's showing 105 & 111 degrees. AHS always sends competent contractors and I’ve been very pleased. They’re knowledgeable and always go the extra mile. I had a different home warranty before I sought out AHS, and their contractors were awful. I’m very happy and glad I switched to AHS.
When I call American home shield they change no words they got right on it they knew what they was doing and I really appreciate that they had the AC people out to my house that same week. Parts had to be ordered and I called them and let them know that was the stress at my home that I had a handicap daughter and a 17-year-old and that I have health issues I was actually having heat exhaustion at the time. When I talked to the young lady she told me to hold on and she wouldn't talk to someone in the warehouse they was able to ship the part out early to help me and my family even the dogs was hot and I got mine when the young lady come back to the phone she said the parts will be sent out... Thank you AHS for your response in referring me to Advance Home Service to repair our AC. They called me within the hr after speaking with you. Technician Cody came out a few hrs later to fix our AC unit. He explained what happened to our unit n had to call in for the part. He was able to have the fan running in our home while we waited for the part to come in.
The company was fast accurate change the piece was need it great customer service
I am a disabled veteran and have gotten the run around with my air conditioner. I keep getting different stories after waiting for repairs for over a month. They did not show up for appointments and nor did they call. Finally, I was told they were putting in a 24-hour emergency request and waiving the deductible and will I be available again this morning at 8 am. But, again, nothing, no show or call now when I called, there's no record, and now I am told that I need to pay more money before they can come out. Terrible experience. I have tried to get our dish washer fixed. It took 6 months and now the installation company of our new dish washer says we can not plug it in because the problem is in the line all along!
On the plumbing companies first visit I was told that because I paid the deductible to American home shield that the water heater would be replaced at no further cost to me. I asked the plumber that several times during the first visit and was assured that I would have not have any out of pocket cost. However when the plumbing companies scheduler called me to set up and appointment I was told that there was an out of pocket fee of 160. I asked why would I be charged and that I was told by the guy that came ti inspect the water heater several time that I would not incur any out of pocket fee.
