Very satisfied with the service I received I receive service in a timely manner
The only complaint I have is hold time when calling in a claim . Other than that every claim I made was handled in the most professional manner. Would recommend to anyone who asked
I'm very pleased with the services of American Home Shield! Recently two of my 21 year old appliances stopped working. I contacted AHS for service and heard from the repair man within 30 minutes. They volunteered to come to my home the same day but I was tied up. They were at my door the next day at 9:00AM. Unfortunately, both appliances needed to be replaced
No problem. I now have new cook top and refrigerator. I rave about this warranty to all of my friends. I feel this insurance is just as important as auto and home insurance.
The customer service is somewhat disappointing due to the long waits on the phone. When people finally come out to do work, their performance is shabby at best and needs much improvement.
We had a problem with our A/C and they took care of us right away
I have called or tried to call for service 6 times. 4 of the times I hung up after waiting 45 min or longer. The 2 times I actually did get through I had to wait over an hour. The 1st time, I waited just over an hour, and my plan didn't cover the garbage disposal that broke a few months after buying my home. Today, someone finally picked up after 1 hour 15 minutes just to tell me that they didn't cover the item I needed serviced. I checked my contract and they were right, dishwashers are NOT covered unless you pay an additional premium when you get your plan. All went well. We were very happy with the service we received.
I do wish they had more providers in my area as it is challenging to find people sometimes who can schedule appointments the same week since providers are sometimes a half hour away. Still They did cover my air conditioner and furnace when we realized at the same time that both needed replacing. I highly recommend AHS for homes with old appliances.
I waited more than an hour to speak to a representative who could not answer my questions regarding my claim being denied. After I followed their correct procedures to have them overturn the decision, I have received zero response from the company.
The contractor hired by AHS arrived promptly and noted the issue at hand. They quickly resolved the issue and my air conditioner was back to operational status.
