This is a disgusting company it take advantage of the customer
The time from calling to the technician calling me was very quick.
I did a video chat with AHS to try to expedite troubleshooting and ordering potentially required parts.
But the video chat details didn't make it to the technician.
But turns out he didn't need parts afterall.
I've had a contract with AHS for years. They are easy to contact & I usually hear from a repair person the next day. I'm pleased with the services they have provided
Very easy to deal with, put a ticket in online, contractor contacted me promptly, issue was resolved. No complaints whatsoever.
Really good communication, service and response over the 16 years and many service calls placed since we bought our place. Good company helps keep our home in good running repair. Highly recommend.
I have been in contract with AHS for 3 years and is very pleased. All i have to do is submit my claim and within 15 to 20 minutes I receive a text stating the name of the Service Provider . Most times the Authorized Service Provider contacts me the same day or the very next day.
When our furnace went and needed replaced it was handled quickly. The heating contractor did what he could to keep our old furnace working to some degree to keep us warm. Then AHS put things in motion to get us a new one installed. Thank you!
the monoxide exhaust motor went out on our furnace. I contacted AHS that evening and our furnace was fixed the next morning! The whole process was pretty seamless.
Company is reliable but you must stay on top of some of the service providers.
I have had American Home Shield warranties when I purchased a home, but until recently never knew there was an option to continue in for more than the initial year following purchase. About 6 months ago we signed up for the Premium plan in a home that actually carried an American Home Shield warranty when I bought it in 1994. I had noticed that my older appliances were breaking down more frequently. I'm happy to pay a regular amount and know I'm insured for my pool, roof, appliances, and home systems. I recently had my first claim and it was complex. The online system didn't register it correctly because I had to washing machines that both broke at the same time. My read of the contract...
