Home Service Club’s base-level 12 month home warranties start with a minimum annual premium of $400.

Coverage is not dependent on a home inspection, and this price point is slightly on the higher side of the industry standard.
With that in mind, they do offer a 30 day pro-rated cancellation policy, minus a $45 dollar administration fee.

Cancellation Policy

The customer may cancel the HSC service agreement for any reason within the first thirty 30 days following the date of purchase and shall be entitled to a refund of the paid contract fees less any service costs incurred by HSC and an administrative fee of up to $45.

After 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fees for the unexpired term, less any service costs and an administrative fee of up to $45.

This contract may be canceled by HSC for nonpayment of contract fee, fraud or misrepresentation by the customer, by agreement between client and company, or if the customer threatens to harm or does harm the safety or well-being of HSC, their property, employees or contractors.

HSC may cancel the contract without reason at any time in the first 30 days following its effective date.

If HSC cancels the contract within the first 30 days, the customer will not be charged an administrative fee and shall be entitled to a refund of the paid contract fees less any service costs incurred.

If HSC cancels the contract after 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fees for the unexpired term, less any service costs and an administrative fee of up to $45.

Worst company to deal with! Been paying $67/month for 'comprehensive coverage' for 2 years. Had a 'compressor' issue with our refrigerator. Opened up a case with 'Home Service Club' and it took almost a week for a tech to schedule a date/time with us. The tech came and looked at the unit and, after diagnosis, he estimated the work to replace the 'compressor' to be around $1000 and some change. I called the 'Home Service Club' and the contractor 3 times and left voicemails. No callback. All the while, our food was going bad and the 'freezer' was unusable. An agent was sent to my house for repair. He was on time and very courteous. He found the problem, fix it and left everything neat and orderly. He was a very efficient and nice man. Hope I get him the next time I have a problem in my AC or other home appliance. My first experience with Home Service Club was a very pleasant one.

The personnel I interacted with were very courteous. Phone calls were made so smooth with no arguments at all. I always felt they were concerned with solving my problem. The gentlemen who came to my home was definitely nice and very knowledgeable. I was impressed.

The customer service rep was very pleasant and kind. She took care of my issue and got it dispatched out very quickly. The technician was on time and solved my problem efficiently. My garbage disposal is working like a brand new one, no longer hear a destructive noise every time I'm using it. Thank you HSC very much. Without this service I would not have been able to get this resolved.

I purchased a new house with a home warranty serviced by “The Home Service Club” (HSC) on 9/20/19. My AC unit was working in “proper operating condition” after the closing. I filed a claim online for my AC unit on 9/24/19 and I didn’t get an email confirmation like the form said I would. There was no record of the claim request (lucky I screen captured the Service Request form with the SR number on it 662636) in my online account to track. The tech was on-site on 9/25 and I was charged charged $95 for a service call but I wasn’t provided a receipt or a copy of the service call report. I didn’t receive any updates from HSC until 9/30. Update: Per my rep from this company ONE MONTH LATER from the date the claim was originally filed: "I have been working on helping you with your unauthorized repair, because I want you help you with the frustrations it caused you. However, once reviews are posted the legal department and fraud prevention department, stop access to offering courtesies. Whenever we are going against the contract, we have to go to the legal and underwriting department to show the loss and explain the situation. During this process, if there is a negative review online it is extremely difficult to get approved if not impossible. The claims process wasn't very hard. I've been taken care of relatively fast on all of the claims I've submitted. The claims representative and the technician who came to the house were all nice and polite, and done their job. I have no regrets yet. It was all very good.
