Home Service Club’s base-level 12 month home warranties start with a minimum annual premium of $400.

Coverage is not dependent on a home inspection, and this price point is slightly on the higher side of the industry standard.
With that in mind, they do offer a 30 day pro-rated cancellation policy, minus a $45 dollar administration fee.

Cancellation Policy

The customer may cancel the HSC service agreement for any reason within the first thirty 30 days following the date of purchase and shall be entitled to a refund of the paid contract fees less any service costs incurred by HSC and an administrative fee of up to $45.

After 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fees for the unexpired term, less any service costs and an administrative fee of up to $45.

This contract may be canceled by HSC for nonpayment of contract fee, fraud or misrepresentation by the customer, by agreement between client and company, or if the customer threatens to harm or does harm the safety or well-being of HSC, their property, employees or contractors.

HSC may cancel the contract without reason at any time in the first 30 days following its effective date.

If HSC cancels the contract within the first 30 days, the customer will not be charged an administrative fee and shall be entitled to a refund of the paid contract fees less any service costs incurred.

If HSC cancels the contract after 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fees for the unexpired term, less any service costs and an administrative fee of up to $45.

My washer and dryer failed on me while all of us were in for the holidays. I thought I was going through all these laundry bare handed. Good thing my hubby called in HSC and had someone over on a HOLIDAY and fixed both my units. He even came prepared with some parts that needed replacement. These guys are so pro and didn't waste our time. We offered them to stay for dinner but politely refused. I just wanna say that the techs you have sent are so good and very friendly. Thanks for finding the right guys for us Home Service Club!

It's clear by reviewing the information that this company chooses NOT to respond to those who are not satisfied with negative feedback and more importantly choose not to resolve problems timely. Look closely before you purchase. Prices are one thing and customer service is another. I've been without a response for nearly 2 months with a fridge problem. They don't vet technicians properly as they gave a name of someone who didn't even do that type of repair and the second one came and never took a tool out but claimed the fridge was not repairable. Took 10 days to get someone out to add 5% freon to my AC and charge me $125 deductible! Lord help ya if your AC, heat or well pump go out completely and you REALLY need them!!!

I like Home Service Club. They really came through for me when I had a surge go through my home. That was $630 for an AC repair that I didn't have to pay for. Saved me a lot of money! they send professionals to your home each time.

As of now my rating is 1 star. I called in an AC repair on 6/19 and told HSC that we had no AC in any of our sleeping areas. Living in Houston in the summer, not having AC is a problem, especially with young children. It took 2 days and multiple phone calls for a technician to be scheduled. Then they ignored the diagnosis on Friday, again not returning multiple messages and not answering multiple phone calls about next steps. As of today, we are finally told they agree with tech that the unit needs to be replaced but they are trying to find a way not to cover it, and now will not call us back again (since 10:30 this morning) when they stated they would have a quote and coverage position... When the garbage disposal wasn't working properly, I called The Home Service Club. When the technician was done checking it out, he told me that replacing it would be the better option. That's exactly what was done. The new one was put in and I love it!

Awful service.... quick to take your money , very very slow claims process. We have been waiting 5 days post diagnosis for a decision on the repair of our aircon, its a simple repair, the engineers have the parts , they are chasing , we are chasing , no one answers calls or emails .... If you want to pay for no service get these guys ....the lack of response and courtesy speaks for itself. Monday - Diagnosis ....it's now Friday and we cant get hold of anyone despite numerous emails and calls to them from both me and the engineers. This is my first claim with HSC and I am very very unhappy.

Worst Company to spend money on Had Service on a dishwasher was bad so they offered a new one i had to pick from a list of them that was from what they offered not exactly what i had lesser value then what had and also had to pay for the install myself which i thought was covered under the plan so had to pay the monthly cost the cost of the service cost and the install all cost me $450 to install a dishwasher all in all this took 3 weeks next was our furnace in the middle of December where we have snow and cold as low as 15F waiting for a week on the service to get out to us finally got to us and just took pictures and left this company said our furnace was neglectful and wasn't said we...
