Home Service Club’s base-level 12 month home warranties start with a minimum annual premium of $400.

Coverage is not dependent on a home inspection, and this price point is slightly on the higher side of the industry standard.
With that in mind, they do offer a 30 day pro-rated cancellation policy, minus a $45 dollar administration fee.

Cancellation Policy

The customer may cancel the HSC service agreement for any reason within the first thirty 30 days following the date of purchase and shall be entitled to a refund of the paid contract fees less any service costs incurred by HSC and an administrative fee of up to $45.

After 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fees for the unexpired term, less any service costs and an administrative fee of up to $45.

This contract may be canceled by HSC for nonpayment of contract fee, fraud or misrepresentation by the customer, by agreement between client and company, or if the customer threatens to harm or does harm the safety or well-being of HSC, their property, employees or contractors.

HSC may cancel the contract without reason at any time in the first 30 days following its effective date.

If HSC cancels the contract within the first 30 days, the customer will not be charged an administrative fee and shall be entitled to a refund of the paid contract fees less any service costs incurred.

If HSC cancels the contract after 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fees for the unexpired term, less any service costs and an administrative fee of up to $45.

Home Service Club has been a boon to me as a landlord. Last week, for example, I had a tenant complaint about a stove. For me it was simple, I call the Home Service Club and then gave them the tenants number. They took it from there. My tenant is happy that our stove is working again and I'm happy that I have a stress on my shoulders.

On 5/14/18 I contacted this company to place a home service request as my dryer had stopped working. After a week of no contact from HSC, I made numerous follow-up calls regarding this matter. I was continuously informed that they were unable to locate a vendor in my area. I was given the alternative to pay for the services on my own, to which I would be reimbursed for 50% of my cost (a concept that made me wonder what it is that I'm paying for as my contract calls for a $125 service fee and 100% coverage thereafter). My cleaning lady loaded up a dishwasher as she usually does on Wednesdays when she comes. I know it's not her fault but the dishwasher would not drain after she ran the load. I checked to see if there was food in the drain and of course there wasn't. She always make sure the clear off the dishes before loading them in the dishwasher. She has been with our family for years. She called me at work to let me know. I enter the claim online. I receive a call 2 hours later from an appliance repair company to come and fix the dishwasher. On 11/8/2017 we contacted HSC for a broken washing machine, they got back with a recommended washer from Lowes. We were told they would send a credit card that was loaded with the correct amount to replace the machine but it would take an unacceptable amount of time until we would receive it. After getting approval for us to pay cash for the new machine we did. I followed all procedures (kept the emails saying the same) and was advised it would take 45 to 50 days for a check to be issued. With all the holidays coming soon i gave them some slack on the time. I kept a diligent lookout for the check to arrive but it never came. Very happy with the Home Service Club repair service ,called about a dishwasher leak and provided a model number, When the tech arrived, he replaced the water valve that was overfilling my machine. Problem solved in one visit!

My experience with the Home Service Club was simple and easy. It was stress-free from start to finish. Our dishwasher wasn't working I'm so call that the home service Club you received a call that day and arrange for a visit the very next morning. The repair company showed up and completed the repair in one visit.

This company is BEYOND TERRIBLE. They have not reimbursed several claims AFTER they were approved. Their wait times are horrible. They never return emails or calls. I would NEVER buy a contract from them again.

We lost power in 3 rooms and so I called HSC to fix it. They send an electrician, he was efficient, and seemed to know what he was doing. Everything was back to normal quickly.

My washing machine broke out of the blue and I needed it fixed ASAP because of the inordinate amount of dirty clothing that my children produce. On a daily basis there is literally a pile of laundry at my house waiting to be cleaned. I was wowed by how fast these guys responded to my request for my machine to be repaired. The dispatch lady was easy to talk to and she understood how I needed my washing machine repaired ASAP. I was able to schedule an appointment for a repair person to come out the very next day. The washing machine is back to normal. Now I’m just trying to find the robot housekeeper from the Jetsons that can fill and empty the machine for me.
