Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I received a prompt and courteous return call to file my claim when the dishwasher went bad, and the rep walked me through the process & let me know a contractor will be contacting me soon. Select is definitely a good deal for the money and I highly recommend them.

My basement was in complete darkness. My circuit box had troubles am burnt out some cables. An electrician was send in and did a pleasing job in just under 2 hours. I recommend SHW.

The 1st technician they sent out got approval for the repair of my Air Conditioning outdoor unit, but failed to order the part and lied about the process for getting the part. They sent out a 2nd tech and then Select home warranty decided they would reimburse me for $150 for repair of the unit. But no one did any repairs and I am still without Air Conditioning, their warranty is useless. They require you to pay a company to come out and clean your unit and replace filters every year. You are not allowed to do your own maintenance on your own property or they won't pay.

Was a very nice claim experience with Select home warranty. Proper setup of the sink spot to make no extra messes. Very work detailed and looks pristine now that is complete.

I have a very modern kitchen with a large overfan. This fan decided not make a really cranking noise and spill slowly. The claim I made came in and removed the parts and replaed the fan that had a lot of thick oil on it.

IF 100 PEOPLE DO NOT PURCHASE SELECT HOME WARRANTY BECAUSE OF MY REVIEM I LOS $375, BUT SELECT HOME WARRANTY $37,500 SELECT HOME WARRANTY IS A DISHONEST COMPANY do yourself a favor save your money and stress knowing that you being fool by trusting this SCAM COMPANY. Stay away from SELECT HW they do not have technicians as they claim, also that few companies that accept SHW are dishonest like them, they only collect the service fee which it will not cover the part that is just for diagnostic (some can give you this for free) and then they tell you they will contact you to let you know what is your part and what SHW will cover. Select warranty is recommended for anyone. I have a two floor house and the pipe from the bathroom put a leak behind the wall. They came reasonably fast and took the time to cut sheet rock in a way that was very cleanly done. No mess and just a small sheet rock patch repair job do I need to do on my own.

I am very pleased with deciding to use Select. Ultimately the deciding reason was cost but now that I have got two claims under my belt I am glad because the service is more important than saving a couple dollars making them well rounded and worth while.

Our treatment by select warranty has been proven to be a safe investment for our home. They cater to all our needs and have not give us any problems with management of our claims. They are efficient and cost effective with good service call fee price and for us price was key.

With a crawl space under my house I needed a pipe replaced and the crew that came was very experienced in this kind of problem. They needed two hours and stopped the link found by an old rusty pipe. Saved me a real nice amount of money here!
