Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Very nice staff that is patient and answered all my question. I was under a lot of stress and they kept calm and gave me 30 minutes on the phone making sure that I felt comfortable with the warranty service process.

In my kitchen we had a leak coming from the dish washing unit. I called to make a claim and I was giving an appointment the same day for a couple days later. I told them about the leak and the tech called me and helped me turn off the water. When he came he found a copper washer break and caused the drip and replaced it within an 45 minutes

I took the advise from your website to select this company; first claim out of the gate and I have been without a dryer for 2 weeks for my family of four. The customer service people are nice, but there is absolutely ZERO urgency about getting my claim addressed; 24-48 hours has stretched out to 2 weeks. I will update when I FINALLY HOPEFULLY get a resolution.

Next to my pool was a leak and I had it recemented for no charge using my warranty. It eases the cost of repairs and although this service cost me extra(pool service) it was worth it.

First let me start by saying Select’s customer service is terrible and the warranty is worthless! We’ve had 3 claims, all of which have required 30+ phone calls on behalf in order to get the repairs completed and to get our refund. Each time we called it was reported that they needed something different or the same thing we had already submitted. It was totally unorganized with no follow up. We were often told we would receive a follow response in 24-48 hours, which we would never get. It appeared that Select had no protocol to follow up with the customer during a claim; everything had to be initiated and repeatedly followed up by us. After renewing my policy for the second year. I file a claim for my 3 year old front loader washer that would not spin to drain the washer. A very nice repairman found that the water pump had stop working! he told me that my washer was very clean and well maintain and he would call in to order parts and approval . After waiting a day I call him to check on the status of my repair and was informed by him that SHW approved the parts but I would have to pay $125.00 for installation of the parts! Select Home sent me a great plumber to fix the leak I had in my whirlpool tub. He also was able to reseal the tub and did not even charge me! I am very pleased with the plumber that was sent my way.
