Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Called for the first time since having a plan with Select Home Warranty to file a claim only to be told my contract was canceled. Payments were still being withdrawn from my checking account every month but the representative ( extremely rude) argued me down they were not receiving payments and I would have to go to my bank without any proof that my contact was canceled and tell them they needed to refund me. She could not give me a date as to when it was canceled. She transferred me to accounts payable where they reinstated my contact because they saw the payments and the gentleman processed my claim. They certainly saved me a ton of money over the past year. Besides the payments they make to repair companies I love that they actually find the people. That saves me a lot of stress and I do not have to have multiple different people come and give me quotes and try to take advantage of me.

The staff is great, They handled my claim professionally. They fixed my dish washer. It had a broken lining that caused water to leak. It cost $499 for my warranty for the year. Trev

The warranty has made things a lot less stressful for me and I am going to continue to be a warranty owner. Select warranty services are quite good and they covered all my appliances in my home. I will be a renewal customer.

This is a terrible company. See BBB complaints. I have had a broken item in my home for 2 weeks and still have no resolution.

Without a doubt select is best in service! I discussed a possible replacement freezer and they agreed with me! I waited 45 days and received a $125 check. It is nice to have a smooth transaction and now I can make the replacement on my own.

Nice people to deal with once you actual make a real claim. I had them setup an operator to fix my refridge and was given a very comfortable experience. I like my select warranty purchase.

I have this and we have just tried to file our first claim which is very small, a garage door, and we keep getting a run around. Every time they say it's prioritized no one gets back to us. My husband was on hold for an hour yesterday. I'd hate to see what happens when a major claim like heating is the problem.
