Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I just compared Select Home Warranty to the home warranty plan I have had for years!!! The price is less and even covers my septic tank!!! Everyone should check and compare!!! Richard Zombowee was my assistant and he was awesome!

Nightly Iheard a jarring noise in my radiator that was making me crazy. Select hired a plumber who came and opened up the radiator valve and drained out all the excess air and tested it. He was so nice he even checked a few more radiators and did the same. I had a great experience that made me happy to be a customer.

Signed up on January 11th for the Platinum Care package. On March 11th I submitted a claim for my refrigerator which stopped working. The claim was assigned to a local appliance repair company who came out and stated the compressor had shorted out, wasn't worth replacing, and was recommending the unit (whole refrigerator) be replaced. Several days later I received an e-mail which stated the following: "Dear Donald Garon, We have processed claim#01045019 for your Refrigerator for policy #922554. After a Review concerning the specific issue with your claim, we have determined that your Policy Does Cover this item, and you have been Approved for the Full Available Cap of $150.00 for the... Fortunately I haven't had the displeasure of dealing with these folks on any claims. I had spoken with two "supervisors" on different occasions to try and rectify the issue I have, to no avail. They had charged me for 5 years of coverage in one transaction when the agreement was to pay monthly. I'm now in the process of trying to recover my funds from the credit card side of things because they keep lying to me about my refund.

I felt stranded the last time I had a melt down on my appliances I dished out a fair amount of money. Select had me on a list and sent me a quote. It was a very reasonable offer and I bit it. Now 3 months in I am content with how competent they have been in repair this time of my washer. Thank you for the excellent staff and claim process.
