Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

This is the absolute worst company I have ever delt with!!!!. I have had a couple of claims and on both I received the worst service possible from contractors. One contractor installed the wrong thermostat for my unit. When I complained to Select I was told they didn't have anything to do with the contractors. So I had to pay to have the correct part put in with no reimbursement. Excuse me!, you are one sending them out. The last incident the contractor does not want to pay to order the parts as he has trouble getting payment so he wants Select to order them. Its been over a month trying to get my dryer fixed. Do not use this company!!!!!!

I never really thought about owning a warranty until my good friend told me about it and thats how I found Select. One year in I have been satisfied with Select's continued support of my home products.

The agent was very nice. I told her that I needed a back-up person in case the first technician's schedule did not jive with mine. The email that I received said that it may take 48 hours to receive contact, which is totally unacceptable. I called right at 8am and so they should be able to reach someone now. If it takes 48 hours I will not be renewing!

Clothes washer and drier issue. I will say the claim processing and dispatch for service was quick. Though, I am little annoyed with the contract terms stating that there is a service fee for EACH ISSUE. I specifically used that as an example when I was considering this warranty. AHS (13 years ) has Select Home Warranty beat with that. Also the customer representatives seem slightly dismissive. Sticking to the wording in the contact, whether clear or unclear. Select has their perks for first time buyers though. I did get the first service CALL fee free. Then again I only made one call but I'm being charged two fees for one contractor to check the separate appliances. Considering the... Read More

RE: Dishwasher stopped working Contact with me was made same day I reported the claim and service appt was set quickly. Tech showed up in time frame they committed to and was very professional. All went well with this experience

The customer service rep was very nice and helpful today March 10, 2019. However, I have called at least 2 times on this same issue since December and no technician has showed up at my home.

Agent was alittle hard to understand but he was helpful. It has now been 4 hrs still no call from tech. I expressed the urgency as we are unable to use any of the sinks or toilets. Hope to get call back soon
