Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Select Home Warranty - Why do you buy a home warranty? I will tell you why I did. I bought a home warranty to cover my family if we ever had a major appliance go down. 7 days ago my hot water heater went out. Cold showers in February is not fun, but I thought I was covered with my home warranty. They send out a technician to access the problem. He tells the warranty company that I have a leaking hose that connects to my water heater, and also that my water heater will not stay on. It starts up and then flames out... I think I can make a review now after several claims. Select has been spot on with my summer Air problems and heating problems in the winter. They have fixed appliances that stopped and an electrical outage. What a real bargain!

My 1st experience with Select Home Warranty has been positive so far. My garage door was creeking and going up very slow. The chain was removed and replaced. A solid 5 stars to the repair company.

I am breathing a sigh of relief for having this warranty. I had 2 electrical outtage from my box having some kinda burn out. In both claims Select came in 24 hours! I was shocked and so so so happy how they treated me!

Claim processing is quick. The technician made arrangement for a one hour window. I was called in the morning at 9am and he came at 9:30. He finished his work in 45 minutes. Very professional and am extremely please with SHW.

Absolutely horrible service. They play games with you and in the end do not cover anything. Took 3 weeks to get a response on a claim even though I called almost daily. Heater broke down, we were in 30 degree weather, and I am 8 1/2 months pregnant. Didn't seem to bother them. Kept telling me to wait another 24-48 hours for a response. I ended up paying out of pocket for both repairs in the end. This warranty is trash. Dont waste your time or money.

Mr Gary with Polar Bear Plumbing is an Awesome Master Plumber. He asked questions, inspected, diagnosed and repaired the issue. Then he taught us on why it happened and gave us preventative measures to follow! Great job sir

This company has affordable coverage, however they also have a 30 day waiting period after purchasing your policy. So if anything goes wrong during that time frame you are out if luck. Due to this I will not be renewing with them. I literally had my air conditioning go out a day after purchasing and spending a lot of money on my policy and now cannot afford to fix my air.
