Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

They do simple jobs but don't build on this company if you need emergency service. Response time is about 24 hours and to get a contractor takes another 24-48 hours. So if you have clogged toilet or problems with your fridge expect the problems! As well if a repair will cost more than a few hundred dollars they will play games with you offering you $150-$200 for your appliance instead of repair. Terrible customer service locate offshore. Nobody is responsible for nothing, absolutely impossible to get a professional person able to make an immediate decision. As well they don't have their own technicians, so when you submit the claim they will look for a relevant contractor in your area.... Read More

First claim was processed quickly with prompt response time for service. I thought the Reimbursement was a bit lower than expected than the average replacement reimbursement, but overall satiaficies with the claim process so far.

I had a Select Home Warranty plan for over a year. I faithfully made my payments and never submitted a claim. Half way through my second year, one of my tenants indicated a plumbing problem. I called Select Home Warranty and filed a claim. I received an email asking me to call, which I did, despite being placed on hold for over 20 mins. Someone answered who spoke very broken english, asking me questions about the problem. I indicated that I did not live in the property but it was reported by my tenants. Do NOT even call for a quote. They sweet talk you then do EVERYTHING possible to not "accept" the claim. Also takes 24 to 48 hours to "review" a claim not counting the 2 to 3 days it takes to get someone to actually come out to the house. I was told companies do not like working with them because they are so difficult.

The Select Home Warranty was great experience, this was my first call to them and they guided me thru the process and made sure a technician was assigned. The Technician came found the issue and has ordered the part to replace and will come back once the part is received. So far the experience has been great

The assigned electrician came by and diagnosed the problem, removed shorted wires and replaced them all in under an hour. Excellence and convinience! Glad I own your product.

If you are not using a Select Home warranty and are paying for repairs yourself like I was you are really losing out on saving money. At first I did not need to use them but after a couple years I had some major failures and they really pulled it off for me and I am very happy!
