Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy I paid for over a year to this company had never used them and then when I did need my AC fixed they told me they don't cover freon most ridiculous thing I ever heard, when I first called them I told them I live in a two-story townhome and they need to bring a tall enough ladder the repair guy showed up with a regular size ladder I had to borrow one from the maintenance crew they sent someone out here that could barely speak english, he charged me $60 for doing nothing!!! I would not recommend this company to anyone.

My comment is given between Select and how they handled my claim and the repair company. Select was on time and did great in setting up the claim. The worker was late to the appointment and did a very quick although very good job.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS HOME WARRANTY!!!!! This is a scam in my opinion. Out of three claims, they found a way out of all three of them. On top of that, they kept changing thrie story and flat out lied to me about everything. I cancelled as soon as I could to get away from them. They ended up costing me over $1000.00. They should be in prison for fraud.

On roof leaks this warranty is worth the value without hesitation. My house was built in 95 and has had two roof leaks in a span of one year. The same roofer came twice and patched the hole. Very clean and very hospitable. I highly recommend.

I am very surprised at the outcome of my home warranty claim. I thought they would just replace some parts on my toilet. The plumber was on the phone with Select and they agreed to a brand new toilet! It was a basic but very nice model and it fits my bathroom style very well.

Out of our three claims Select repaired two and the third they just completed replaced with a similar microwave since they said parts would cost to much on it. We are satisfied here with the level of service and are glad to reward them.

Worth the price in so many ways. The service is top notch for sub $400 warranty. The scheduling is fair at around 7 business days. I so far am liking this warranty program.

Anyone considering purchasing a home warranty with Select home warranty, do not proceed with the purchase. Please take time to read everything. This company sells you a policy under false pretense, does not provide techs, or assigns techs who do not show up (I discovered from a technician from a company not affiliated with select home warranty that a lot of techs do not like working with select home because they have a reputation of not paying the technicians what is owed. This may explain why I never received any repair work by DIFFERENT companies select home warranty assigned). I was lied to by the sales rep over the phone (recorded call) that there is no cancellation fee at all.... Read More

!!WARNING!! DON'T JUDGE SELECT HOME WARRANTY BY THEIR SIGN-UP PROCESS RELATED RATINGS BUT LOOK FOR ACTUAL COVERAGE THEY PROVIDE, THEY SEEM A SCAM TO ME, WHEN I PLACED MY VERY FIRST CLAIM. IT'S BEEN 10 DAYS, THEY DID NOT HELP ME AT ALL!! I bought SELECT home warranty 3 MONTHS ago and they are not honoring their promises to engage contractor and they seem lying since when I reached out to a contractor assigned, the contractor office said, nobody reached them from SELECT! They are just giving me false hopes for 10 days now.
