Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Possibly a raccoon got into my central heat unit and cracked a part. The blade kept clicking over and over and would short out after 30 minutes or about. Select covered this as they said during my claim and when the electrician came he temporarily fixed it and ordered a new blade and some other parts. The whole process was 5 days and was very nicely done.

My LG washer and dryer is a one unit standup. I mainly purchased a warranty because these type of units cost more to repair. To extend my warranty through the Manufacturer would have cost $200. for the extra $100 I got all my appliances covered. It hasn't broke but my ice maker has since I bought my warranty from Select and claims did a speedy job getting me a replacement. So it's worked out for the best even though unintentional.

Cost of living is high and my mortgage is $4000 per month. This warranty plan saved me when my water heater burst in the middle of the night in August. It's strange it happened in August and I am glad I was covered. I made an agreement that I could buy a new one and Select covered installation. It's nice they are adaptable to the problem.

99% of the time everything runs amazing in my home. Purchased a Select plan on June 18th and my gasket came unhinged. Platinum claims made a call to a network technician who came in 3 days and reinstalled it. It was successful as it still is working and good.

In my area I need a septic tank and they are a real pain to upkeep. I honestly thought I would just move to a different home until I found a warranty program that would deal with the hassle for me when I called. It's been 2 years now and between the great service and the great repair centers sent I have had a recommendable experience.

Having a warranty from Select saved me the cost of repairing my oven range wen the light bulb busted. I am very handy so I was able to have the part mailed to me and I installed it. This option is good for saving the deductible.

When my ceiling fan broke my Select Home Warranty covered all parts and labor less the deductible. The total cost saved me about $125 dollars. It would take 3 repairs or so to make this a perfect value. The staff on phone did work hard to setup a claim and get me a product specialist that was a strong point I liked.

Several Ads online promoted them as reliable and reputable. My experience to date emulates these claims. They stood behind me when my sink broke and they stood behind me when my garbage disposal wasn't spinning anymore. They deserve my rating they earned it.

Never heard of a home warranty before until my brother kept raving about his brand new refrigerator his warranty covered for a bad motor. I signed up 4 months ago with SHW and I just had a great experience in them fixing a leak for me. It took 2 days to get someone here and he was clean and precise. I also am a happy customer!

My water heater is fairly newly installed. I ordered a Warranty to protect it from damage. The plan I ordered had protection on my water heater. The pipe going in started leaking and wasn't installed properly. I made a claim with Select and they helped get it to stop leaking until the next afternoon. The plumber they brought in was efficient and clean. Very happy with the service all around.
