Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I filed a claim for my stove and SHW really helped me. They found a contractor for me as soon as possible and an appointment was scheduled. The technician saw that the stove needed a lot of repairs and it was not worth the cost of repairs as purchasing a new one would be more cost effective. I spoke with the claims manager at SHW and they reimbursed me towards a replacement stove. I received my reimbursement check yesterday and I am really happy with how my claim was handled.

The technician hired by Select Home Warranty was professional, on time and courteous. He explained what was being done to repair the stove and showed me what happened. My stove is now in excellent condition. I highly recommend Select Home Warranty.

I filed a claim for my washing machine. The contractor was able to get approval for the replacement parts and came back the next day to install it. The service was acceptable. The process was fairly quick and no issues.

I filed a claim for the pool equipment. A contractor was at my door the next morning fixing the pool equipment. The service was extremely professional without any concerns or issues. My claim was resolved.

Run as fast as you can away from Select Home Warranty; they will do everything they can to not pay a claim. Their best move is if you have a furnace/ AC breakdown with a large bill, they will offer you $150 only. A company that lives up to a BAD REPUTATION!!!!

5 stars. The service was exceptional. Top rated contractors are hired to do quality work. I filed 3 claims this year and each claim was handled very well. Each contractor was top rated online. Highly recommend this company.

A plumber was hired by Select Home Warranty to fix the plumbing issues in the master bathroom. The plumber was professional, on time and very polite. He explained what happened and what he was doing to repair the issue. He ended up saying that the plumbing system in my house was old and narrow and to pay attention to what is thrown into the toilet so that the issue doesnt happen again. I was very happy with my service.

I called SHW yesterday and filed a claim with them. The representative was very polite over the phone and answered all my questions. Today I got a phone call from a contractor requesting to schedule an appointment. I was so happy that my claim was processed very quickly with SHW. Thank you!
