Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

This company useless. They say that they could not replace the evaporator coil due to a freon leak. They do not mention anything about not covering the coil in the contract just that it's a freon leak. This is component of the AC why not cover it. DO NOT GET THIS WARRANTY ITS A WAIST OF MONEY.

The worst company in the world. Big LIARS, will do anything to keep from paying claims. Took me (3) months to get a check for ($75.00) had yo call (15) times. Customer service is horrible. Supervisors don't want to speak with you and when they say they will call back, LIARS! Don't hold your breath. These are venomous SNAKES!!! It's so sad how the lie so you can join their company but when you need them, they will treat you like the crap under their shoe! Run from these devils. If you want a warranty Just make sure it's not these SNAKES!! Devil from HELL!! They don't deserve a star, they deserve to be out of business!!!

The service with Select has been excellent so far. I have been with them for about 2 years now and all my claims were handled well. My reimbursement checks come when they tell me its supposed to come. Overall I am very satisfied with my service.

Far and away the worst consumer experience I've ever had. Hands down. First, Select Home Warranty goes out of it's way not to cover whatever may be wrong with your home whether there is a contractual obligation or not. Second, you have to spend hours on hold trying to get any kind of response from them. Yes, they do have a call back feature but each representative goes over your claim from ground zero. They usually have to pass you along to their claims section, putting you on hold once again. It took us 3 weeks to get a contractor identified to even look at our dishwasher. My most recent claim was for the washing machine. Select Home Warranty got a contractor out to my home as quickly as possible. The contractor was very professional and made all the repairs on my washing machine the same day that he came. I was really impressed with the quick turnaround. Keep up the good work!

They always found a way to not cover what was broken. I asked for a refund and it has been over a month and I still haven't gotten my check. They said the check went out on may 2 and it still isn't here. It is now June 5.

Very good service. My sprinkler claim was processed quickly. Select Home Warranty hired a sprinkler contractor who came to my home on time and was very professional. I am very satisfied with my warranty.

I filed a claim with SHW for my dishwasher. The repairs were completed on my dishwasher within two days. The contractor would have finished sooner if he didnt need to go purchase a special part. The service was very good. I have no complaints.

I purchase a home warranty, never received my policy, when called asked to resend. they were re sending and mailing it . Guess what, no policy. I called to left spoke with a representative to request a refund, very rude , tried everything in the book to avoid giving me my refund. kept putting me on hold saying let me check. I ask to speak with a manger they disconnect the call. Left several messages and email Johnathan the person who sold me the policy. He never return or responded to my email. I finally called and spoke with Jonathan, he tried to extend my warranty additional months. At this point my first impression is my last. I wouldn't use this company if they offer 50 yrs.... Worst company ever. Rude, incompetent and they don't handle a work order. Called for an easy plumbing fix. They told me 2 weeks after calling 20 times, waiting on hold forever, only to be told I needed to find the contractor myself. Waste of time and money. I have paid for their warranty for 5 years, and this was a first time using their service or lack of
