Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Terrible coverage. Always lame excuses not to repair due to "Policy", although not substantiated by "Policy". Even when I tried to cancel the policy, spoke with Edward, who was extremely RUDE, talked over me, and refused to disclose the name of his supervisor, continued to talk over me and being rude and condescending. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

The contractor that Select Home Warranty arranged to address our heat pump issue showed up promptly, was very thorough, professional, and friendly. He resolved our issue in a timely manner and gave an overall evaluation of our HVAC system.

I've been with Select Home Warranty for three years. Recently, I had an issue with my air conditioner and I submitted the claim over the phone. The customer service reps I dealt with and the contractors that came were fine.

Print read their terms. They do not cover labor on any repairs and make you have three years of records to approve a repair. Even if you just purchased the home. Plus terrible customer service and communication.

My experience with Select Home Warranty has been positive. The contractors are very professional and the service provided is exceptional. The peace of mind that I receive in being a member is great. I know if any mechanical system in my home needs repair or replacement, I am protected.

Everything has been positive with Select Home Warranty. My air conditioner was broken and I filed a claim online with them. I also had a couple of interactions with the SHW representatives and they were nice. The contractors they sent were very nice and did a good job.

I called Select Home Warranty for my air conditioner. The person I talked to was helpful and knowledgeable. They were out here within a day. The repair guy was nice. He took his time to diagnose the problem and did a good job. I recommend them.

I put in a second request for them to fix my frig. and it's been over 3 weeks and no one has contacted me yet, don't waste your money on this company. They should be following up on claims, it seems like after you pay the yearly premium they don't care about you

I've used Select Home Warranty in the past. We got them again because we recently bought our home. The whole process of my recent claim was very easy. I made the claim online and within a couple of days, I got a call to schedule someone to come out to take a look. Also, the contractor was professional, on-time, and did what he needed to do.
