This was the first time we had a claim. We were very pleased with how fast and easy everything was and our problem was taken care of. We would highly recommend Select Home Warranty
This company will lie to you. Do not trust them. First, they never sent me my warranty information when we bought the policy. 4 weeks after the purchase, my dryer started to act up so I called and asked about my policy information, since I never received any. They told me that my policy takes 30 + 5 days after the purchase date, which at the time was a week away. 8 days later, my dryer blew up, literally. So when I called to make a claim, they said not only had a claim already been processed by someone, but that they won't honor it as it was made before the policy went into effect. Hands down the worst warranty company out there. They will do everything possible to deny your claim. they even admitted that my loss would have been covered, but because of a paperwork issue in filing the claim, they denied it. Do not waste you money on this garbage. They should be put out of business!
I had a really bad experience with this company. I bought the 15 months warranty, in 11th month, I had 2 claims, being told both were not covered (both are parts of the kitchen regular facility - fridge and stove). I was quite upset about it and called to understand if I can cancel my insurance with any refund. The guy on the phone was not patient and bad attitude and told me I got no refund if i cancel. I was then upset again and said I would then not to choose cancellation. But he said it is already cancelled and can't be redone. I was in shock but got no good response. I've switched from AHS to this for all my 3 properties and I regretted deeply. Switching back now
I was talked into this policy and the first time I went to use it I was told that it wasn't covered. I had pool coverage that included the filtration system. My filter had a small leak and I was told that it didn't cover leaks outside of the home. Pools are not inside of the home, it was the filter but the manager was VERY Nasty to me and said We are not covering your claim. Buyers be ware this is not a company you should use. This manager was about as nasty as I have ever spoken with a company. DO NOT use this company!
My most recent claim with Select Home Warranty was for a plumbing problem. Submitting a claim to them was an easy process. The contractor they sent was wonderful. We were in a rental property and I've had them out there a couple of times before. I'd recommend them to my friends.
How can you still list select home warranty as one of the best. It should be one of the worst. I have two claims rejected. Then I have a third one, I think this one is crystal clear, my oven's control board is not working. Then, it is rejected again. They said it is broken off. Then I called the technician who inspect the oven, I was told he just reported my control board is not working. However, the control board part is no longer available. The company is not only cheating but also very unprofessional. I would suggest anyone who is searching warranty to select another company.
The company was very considerate. They took the time to show me what was wrong and how they were going to fix it. The man that did the repairs was very knowledgeable and kept me updated on when he was going to return. He made the required repairs in a timely manner.
Very professional, quick to respond, knowledgeable and patient. Highly recommendable
