ServicePlus offers two types of plans: Gold and Platinum.

Both of these have a series of optional add-ons, such as pools, spas, central vacuum, limited roof leaks, and septic systems, to name a few. Their pre-packaged plans can therefore be expanded to suit every homeowner's needs.

No home inspection is required to purchase a policy. Appliance and system coverage is guaranteed regardless of age, make, or model. However, maintenance records are required for service and the company has a pre-existing condition policy which is unusual in the industry and may limit coverage.

For a single-family home in a small midwestern city, ServicePlus' Gold Plan premium is $569. The company's Platinum plan for the same home runs $649. An annual contract is required for both plans and premiums must be paid on an annual basis.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel this Agreement within the first thirty (30) days of the order date for a full refund of the paid contract fees, less any service costs incurred by us.

If this Agreement is canceled after thirty (30) days, you shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $50 administrative fee and any service costs incurred by us.

If we have provided services and the amount of the service costs incurred by us is greater than the contract fees paid, then no refund will be due to you.

This company is fraud and it should be out. The offer cheap price but also they offer no services either! Most of the common claim they rejected! No contracts in the area! They will assign a contract and you have to Hanse the contract for appointment with no success because the contract company never hear about TOTAL!! It is a TOTAL lost! You call the customer service you will find long waiting, poor service, rude, and welcome to aggravation! After giving up you request a refund then the fun start!! They will agree to refund your account but they want to charge you for a month and a percentage for cancelation!! They will charge a fee for wasting your time!!!!! That is their real... Read More

Don’t ever use this company they are straight liars they took my money for six months and served me no service when it was time for me to use them. So basically total home warranty is a straight lair i had to pay a service fee of $75.00 for them to come out and check my air conditioner unit and then to get turn down and not cover my unit. So please please don’t waist your Money on this company. I asked them to cancel my policy and refund me my MONEY.

We have been trying for 9 months to get our furnace fixed.... we were duped into a $1900 warranty that has no value, other than a headache. Several businesses have told us that they will never work with home warranty companies because of the hassle & trouble getting paid. This has been a complete joke for us... if we didn’t have alternative heating as a back up, we would’ve frozen to death through the winter. It’s completely ludicrous. And, I was given the number for a manager. He answered once, and after that he doesn’t pick up, and he won’t return my messages. Customer service is dreadful. Don’t waste your money.

I have used several home protection companies, but this was the worse! My first claim was for my dishwasher. They sent a plumber who took a week to come out. He diagnosed the problem wrong. Kept me waiting over four weeks to get a part. When I confronted him that the part is available on the manufactures web site for $38, he said he only uses his part supplier. I fired him. The company then set up another plumber, who did not return my phone call. My philosophy is if the company can't get it right on the first time, they probably won't the next time. Total Home Protection is a complete fraud. My garage wasn't working and I had to pay. they won't. My Ac didn't work last year, I had to pay, they rejected. Now, I had to change the compressor, and they gave a reason that no one can understand and rejected it again. They were the sweetest people to take $1000s of dollars for 5 years on two of my properties. They paid $0 so far in any repairs I had to do. Fraudulent company. I do real estate and told all the people I meet and the title companies not to use this fraudulent company. I am joining any lawsuits out there to seek justice. Claim #

Rejected: Claim 683867 First of all, this is not a refrigerator system, such as an air conditioner. It is a household, kitchen refrigerator that goes in my residence. But if you refuse to cover the leakage under my warranty, then I fully understand your methodology of reviewing claims. Your intent is to look for issues that you can exclude, not include. Therefore, when my so-called policy expires, I will not renew again. The worst ever...Several weeks to get service. Offered $150 to replace a washing, then $250, final offer. Took 10 weeks to receive check.
