ServicePlus offers two types of plans: Gold and Platinum.

Both of these have a series of optional add-ons, such as pools, spas, central vacuum, limited roof leaks, and septic systems, to name a few. Their pre-packaged plans can therefore be expanded to suit every homeowner's needs.

No home inspection is required to purchase a policy. Appliance and system coverage is guaranteed regardless of age, make, or model. However, maintenance records are required for service and the company has a pre-existing condition policy which is unusual in the industry and may limit coverage.

For a single-family home in a small midwestern city, ServicePlus' Gold Plan premium is $569. The company's Platinum plan for the same home runs $649. An annual contract is required for both plans and premiums must be paid on an annual basis.

ServicePlus does not require a home inspection. Coverage starts 30 days after you sign your contract. The company has a 30-day cancellation policy in place.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel this Agreement within the first thirty (30) days of the order date for a full refund of the paid contract fees, less any service costs incurred by us.

If this Agreement is canceled after thirty (30) days, you shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $50 administrative fee and any service costs incurred by us.

If we have provided services and the amount of the service costs incurred by us is greater than the contract fees paid, then no refund will be due to you.

Salesman was very knowledgeable but a little pushy but he ended up giving me what I felt was a good deal. I just hope after reading reviews it is as good as it sound. I guess I will find out when I have to submit my first claim.

Awful service. Have been waiting for more than two months to repair my dishwasher. Already with the third contractor, they don't follow up. I asked to talk to the customer service manager and her attitude was completely rude, instead of apologizing for the awful service and for not solving my problem. Many times I have called and they said they were going to call back but the only call I received was to renew the policy which of course I won't. Would never recommend this company

I have waiting since July 2020 for the repair to my Heating and Air. I paid my deductable to a assigned technician. The technician before him destroyed my duct work when he put a motor that Total Protect contracted. He doesn't want to repair what he destroyed. Called again and complain to a supervisor about the original tech who destroyed my ductwork. So she sent the tech that I paid the deductible to finished the duct work back to my home. He came to my home September2020 to repair after waiting for a month for him to build a part to repair my duct work, to tell me my duct work is not under warranty. I have been paying for my policy loyally every month for a few years. My frig stopped cooling. For over a month I kept calling to get assigned someone to come out. Finally assigned a technician. I could not schedule a appointment because the technician would not respond to calls or emails. Called the company back all they could say was sorry we will keep looking. After calling over and over they assigned another technician. He came out the next day. I have a freon leak on a three year old frig. Either pay 900 to fix or replace it. He recommended replacement. The very next day someone from Total home protection called they do not cover anything for this. Not a dollar!

I would give them a negative rating if I could! They deny everything. They also have the worst policy for replacing appliances. Our Washing machine broke and they said it was too expensive to do repairs. They are only offering us 150 for a large front loading washing machine- - I cannot get any sort of washing machine for that price!!!! They upped it to 225. We had a similar issue with our microwave with American and at least they offered us $250. At least that covered 75% of the new microwave. They can no longer operate in the state of CA. They shouldn't be allowed to operate in any state.

THPis the most fraudulent, deceptive, unreliable home warranty out there. For every claim I submitted within the first year contract, they found a way NOT to pay! Most recently, my washer and dryer stopped working. They tried to get two claim fees out of me. Their method of selecting “professional, reliable “ service providers is putting the service tickets out on their site and any Joe Smo that needs work picks up the ticket. THP DOES NOT USE REPUTABLE SERVICE PROVIDERS, just some mom n pop type businesses! The service provider submitted the washer and dryer would be too costly to repair.
